Thanks for showing us the results with the different house paints. They turned out wonderful. Always love when you show us experiments so we can learn.
Sarah, I llike your style of pouring, I learn so much from you.... I am new with fluid pouring.... thank you very much... merci beaucoup from 'Montreal Quebec
Amazing examples for pearl recipe. I like the minimalist ingredients. I believe I appreciate the Behr pearls best. Thank you Sara for your contributions to the fluid art community. 🎨 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯💣✌🏽
I love how every artist can take a technique and make it their own. Loving your style! I'm really into Tara's and Sara's too! All of your pearl pours are so different and gorgeous! 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A hint for firming up loose or sagging canvas. Use an very fine mister and lightly spray the back. It will cause the linen to shrink and tighten your canvas surface.
Hi Sarah, thanks for the new pearl recipe. New to the pearl pour and will try this tomorrow! I was using Sarah Taylors older recipe that she added Apple Barrel to her Artist Loft Soft Body Paint along with Floetrol, water, and Behr. I did that, and I think that the 2022 Soft Body is different than the 2020 and 2021 that she referenced. When I started to tilt my canvas, the pearls came up so fast that by the time I was halfway done, they started to overlap and it became sort of marbled effect. It's kinda pretty, but not what I was going for. LOL. Thank you again for the recipe. You two Sarah's are great!
Hey Sarah, Thank you so much for showing all your pieces even the ones that were test pieces and made with different house paints. What I understand is that that technique has a mind of it's own 🤣So it's knid of a surprise each time . Anyway they are all very pretty and so different . Hugzzzzz my friend 🥰🥰😘😘💖💖
Love it Sarah! My favorite of all of these are exactly the same as your but I just love the blue one cause blue has always been my favorite color… one question: here in Quebec Canada, week-end don’t have Behr neither Valpar. Can I use DecoArt white satin enamel instead with same proportions?
Thanks! Your work has inspired some of my favorite pieces. I’m looking forward to trying this pearl recipe on some of my functional art. One day, I hope to take one of your in-person classes. Ya’ll should come to Galveston!

Those look great! So do you have a preferred brand of paint? I had a hard time remembering which was which.
I liked the results with the Valspar best :)
@@SarahMackArt Good to know! Thank you. ❤
Do you need house paint to do a pearl pour?
Love it Sarah! My favorite of all of these are exactly the same as your but I just love the blue one cause blue has always been my favorite color… one question: here in Quebec Canada, week-end don’t have Behr neither Valpar. Can I use DecoArt white satin enamel instead with same proportions?
I believe so and just add a bit of titanium white
Salut Geneviève, the only place I could find the valspar was at lowes/rona. Bonne chance !😉

I wrote my recipe in the description box .hope that helps
Sarah your colors and tutorial are great. Is that Behr 8300 house paint for the pearl pour recipe? Thanks for sharing your talent.
I’ll look at the Behr when I get to studio…it was a Behr scuff defense in white satin finish
Love it! Are the measurements in your recipe by volume or weight?
By volume:)

Is that house paint white then ? Im just confused again. Is there paint on the canvas ahead a time ? Or is that house paint mix oh never mind. .
House paint is the white. The canvases were already white
Cool, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️✌️😁🤗
Thanks!
Oi sou brasileira não entendo nada de inglês pode me falar qual tinta e porque o maçarico por favor ? Gratidão
Torch to pop air bubbles, I used a White House paint in satin finish as the white
I;ve loved your work for the last 4 years. This is a far cry from your original work. You gave up your day job to do this ?
This is just an experiment. I still do my other works.
@@SarahMackArt So sorry for the harsh message Sarah, I was taking my own frustration out on you, forgive me x
@@franmorou no worries 😌
