I'm in a similar situation. I started my English teaching training course two years ago, after having started another career. And now I just begun a new job, as an English teacher at the same institute where I studied from 7 to 17 years old. I'm 24 now.

I 'm an English teacher too from Argentina..I also like languages very much and I speak the same 4 languages as you do Spanish (native mother tongue in Argentina) Italian because I come from an Italian family and Portuguese, cause I ' m a fan of Brazil. But English ia my favorite cause I ' ve been teaching it for over 30 years at schools all levels. Poi viene l'italiano che mi piacce con passione perché lo porto nel sangue. I took a leap of the faith to come to Australia to live. I was really enjoying previous work in Japan and got promoted. Something doesn’t add up here. But I wanted to make my life better. I wasn’t sure if I can make ends meet because I’ve never been abroad. I tried to find a job as soon as I came here but I was in a pickle. I was struggling with speaking and listening English. So I couldn’t find a job for 3 months. But I finally got a opportunity to trial as a waiter. I was over the moon! I was really shaking like a leaf at the day of the trial. But I felt great because I was standing on the foreign restaurant’s floor. I was able to get through it! And I tried to put my best foot forward so I finally got a job overseas! I have been living here for a year. I sometimes put down because I don’t still understand the English which was spoken by native speaker and top-notch speaker. But It’s alright! I’m still learning English and sure to be improving my English skill! Now I really appreciate everything and my manager who took me on!
