    I LOVE hearing that the style will last through workouts! Very important for me and the kind of lifestyle I want to have. I need to be able to go from the gym to the office and back without worrying about my hair. This is perfect!

      But your hair actually does look pretty healthy. You just have a different texture. Your hair will not look like this texture. You have to do what works for your texture of hair. Your hair dont look unhealthy to me, but then again i'm not a stylist.

      This is 4a hair. You have 4c hair so it won't look like this at all.

      +Shiny Sphinx i think she knows what her hair type is she was talking about her hair health.. naptural85's hair is pretty healthy so to mimic this look on less healthy hair even if you got 4a hair , will be much more work. Its not about hair type.

    This is a beautiful style and what a great tip about adding hair from the top and bottom separately behind the ear. My daughter and I both wear a similar style quite often and I will certainly try this variation soon....like tonight LOL

    Thanks! Now I see where I would always mess up. I messed up when you get to the hair that pasts the ear. i didn't know I had to split the top from t he bottom when adding in. Thanks. Also, I always had a problem with the part showing. Thanks again. I will try this again soon.

    So clever! I love the twisting from the top and bottom idea. It's so much prettier. I used to wear my hair very much like this back in the 80's. Time to revisit it, I think, with your new twist ;-) on the style. Thanks!

    I love this style and think it can work with my in between length /growing out tapered cut. I wasn't too successful trying a style similar to this before cause I was trying to add in too much hair as I flat twisted 😕. Now I will give it a try again!

    Love it. Want to start working out again but this rain girl in London is not agreeing with my hair in a bun (noticed on wash day I'm getting this matting in the middle where the bun usually sits).
    Perfect hairstyle to work out in then to go to work then class n still be looking cute.

    Question my hair texture is almost like your and length as well, but bobby pins won't work they won't hold I've tried different sizes, brand, etc and yet every time i watch your videos they work for you, any tips? i love your videos always great styling ideas for natural long hair!!! thank you!!!
