My $380.00 dollar 55 inch Hi sense A6G is done for 😡 not even a year old!! screen is black won't turn on at all! red light flashes slowly twice, and then flashes very fast 2 or 3 times. I loved this tv, key word LOVED... I'll never buy a Hisense tv again.
Solid video. Appreciate sharing your experience and opinions. My 2 year old 65H78G just stopped turning on today. Red light flashing red twice then steady. Tried soft reset 5 different times. There is no hard reset button on this model. I am choked about it as really my only logical option will be to go and buy another tv (not a hisense) - probably a decent Samsung or LG. Really wasn't in the mood for a $1700 bill this month. fml.
My Hisense 58" 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (58H78G) died after a year and a half. Which means its garbage unless I paid for extended warranty. Mine had a blank screen... it seemed to be "on" as the screen was sort of illuminated but it was blank/black and I didn't see any logo or anything. When i'd try plugging it into other electrical outlets and turn it on... the red light would just flash about 25 times. And never turns on. I can't find any information about what the issue is for sure so I don't feel comfortable going and buying a new mainboard when it might not even fix it. I can't find any reset button on it either. So I went out and bought a Sony X80K. Hoping I have better luck with that and find some better info on what the issue is with the Hisense.
My Hisense 50a6gx3 just shut off one night and never turned back on, I just replaced the 3 boards and still same issue so I think the problem might be the backlight? Solid red light on the power button, and the light never changes.
Hello. Saw your video and very interesting on your topic. My question is… do you repair TVs? I have a Hisense H9g and having a problem with the Emmc memory chip. Do you repair that?
mine died after 6 months was never connected to internet. guy came out replaced board worked fine for 1 year just died again today was never updated or connected to internet poor quality components i think. thanks for making your vid
Same, I was watching the update at 4:00am and it failed. The warning says "Don't turn off the TV" but when it's stuck, what do you do. After that I tried to turn the TV on and I get a blank screen. So, they messed up my TV and now they won't fix it since it's out of service. Never again will I buy one. Mine is totally blank, so I can't do the USB update.
Hi, you seem smart so maybe you can answer this question. I have a 50 inch Hisense Android tv, 50H8G, board number 261423, 261424, RSAG7.820.9615/ROH and I was wondering if there was a bios chip on it. If not, what component on the board does the firmware write to. If it wrote to an Ic chip then I could unbrick my TV and write directly to the IC. My TV has a white light of death after an update and I tried all fixes and nothing works. Thanks
@MikeMu Wow I definitely can't program that chip but I heard that you can get one with the flash already on it but probably not for this cheap hisense TV. I wonder if I reballed it if anything would happen, maybe one day I will try it if this Hisense has one in it. What is the name of the chip that is under the heat sink, is it a graphics chip? I remember a long time ago when the graphics chip came loose on the PlayStation 3 it would freeze and my TV was freezing like crazy. Thank you
Yes my Hisense has a black screen and nothing helps! Had it one year! I should have never changed from Insignia. Is it cheaper to buy a new tv? Not this brand!
Yep. My 55” Hisense is less than 2 months past the 2 year extended warranty I paid for at Best Buy. 🙄🤦🏼♂️ I should’ve known better than getting a Hisense.

I have an Hisense 43" AG6 TV in my bedroom since 2021 from Best Buy and it started doing that. It doesn't have a reset button. I tried unplugging the TV after the TV came on with the Hisense Android TV logo on screen held the power button for 60 seconds. It didn't work. I am currently having the TV unplugged and will hold the power button down for 60 seconds. I really hope that the mobo of the TV didn't die out and the TV was just overheating (I have the TV on all the time for background noise). My TV has the 2-year Geek Squad protection.
My Roku hisense tv is doing the same thing. I don’t see how a Roku dongle will fix my problem when the tv won’t boot up all its just flashing red light. I’d appreciate any more advice about this. I ve replaced every board In This thing with no results
Did your TV start to get slower and slower in response times, and boot up? If not, my tech said sometimes it is a backlight problem. And unfortunately if that is the case, they simply destroy the TV and send you a new one (if under warranty). We didn't go down that route, so unfortunately I have no more advice for that. The dongle part would not help in your case or in the case of a RokuTV - it was specifically about the AndroidOS. Is your TV out of warranty? (sometimes it is two years if you registered it).
Haven't watched yet. But read title. I seen a video where the guy held the power button for 20 seconds. I just bought this for $319. Little worried now 😔
I recently got a Hisense 55a6g didnt even have it for a year and it started turning off and on and the red light started flashing. I think it might've been the storage but im not sure. The weird thing is I can use the youtube button on the remote and go into the youtube app and be able to watch youtube videos but the moment I go back to the hub it turns off.
My tv just started acting weird. Every time i click the power button on the controller the red light turns off and then blinks 6-10 times. But the screen stays black.
So so frustrating. It's on Netflix. So my wifi is working but the screen went black. All the turn on and off,s and holds do not work. There is no such thing as a tech for this huge tv that is hisense roku. Any other ideas??
Mine has some weird zig zag lines burned in all over the screen mostly noticeable on solid colors like a blue sky in movies/games and I recently noticed it has some discoloration/color distortion when moving the camera in PS5 games (Haven't noticed it on the nintendo switch) and that's not to mention the ghosting and backlight bleed around the screen. Definitely the worst TV I've ever owned.
The other day I was watching my 70 Hisense android tv and it reminded me it was running out of space so I went into the apps and started uninstalling apps, every thing was find until I uninstalled Googleplaystore updates.. once I did that my tv would turn on for 30 seconds then it would shuts down again so I decided to do a reset everything and now it turns on shows the Logo Hisense android then shuts off I tried every step and firmware, still nothing smh, it's a waste of money for any android tv
Mine was covered by warranty. Unfortunately the guy I talked to didn't know how much it was. But labor alone was going to be $150+ (for him to drive out). It was imply replacing the board with a screwdriver.

Ours is fine right now after they replaced the board. Call them and schedule a service visit.

Hisense is the biggest pile of shit I've ever owned. Save yourself the trouble and go for a bigger brand.
Gotta watch because they sell under other names also
Yup. They are shit. My brand new 4k didn't make 2 years. Choked about it

Nice work Mike.

Thanks for your video. Great insight especially from the tech. This is golden
Hello. Saw your video and very interesting on your topic. My question is… do you repair TVs? I have a Hisense H9g and having a problem with the Emmc memory chip. Do you repair that?
I’m afraid I do not repair them. You can send them in for repair though.
@@MikeMu where to?
@ignacio633 I’ve seen some repair places post on UA-cam about their repair process. I’m afraid I have not tried any to recommend though.

$319 is a great deal! I tried all the online 'searchab'e ways to fix before I had the tech come out. I wish it were that simple to fix.
Thanks. Good to know. Got mine at dams club. Still on site and sold out. But maybe during black Friday again this year

just change the back light
Mine is doing the same thing. I have the exact same tv. Size and all. I got it 4 months ago
Contact Hisense and have them come out and update the board.
Exact same issue
for me it broke after less than 2 months.. i hate hisense

It’s only a matter of time now maybe. Unplug for a while to see if that resets. Otherwise, the rest of the video may apply to you.

need to change backlight led.
Did u use a voltage stabilizer?
Yes, APC UPS with AVR.

I have noticed that in situations like that you may need to upgrade the HDMI cable. Try switching it up. It may be connectivity issue.

Same exact problem with my 75-inch 75h6570g. It won't factory reset. When I was able get to it. Now I can't. So frustrating.
Price to fix it? My 75 4k roku Hisense lasted not quite 2.5 years. Very disappointing. Got a new 65 TCL 65 4k roku coming Sunday.
