The only Up B I can think of would be a high jump similar to King Dedede. I'd call it the 'Bowser Bound". It would be similar to Dedede's Up Special, except there is a hitbox on the way up and he doesn't slam down like Dedede does.
The move is based on the fact that Bowser usually jumps high up in the air in most boss fights(like after when you miss the spiked balls in Mario 64, or in most of the 2-D boss fights). Though the Koopa Klown Car makes much more sense and I would let it be.

True, Bowser does tend to jump a lot in his fights. However I think they already tried to represent that with Down B. I think making down B jump cancel-able could solidify the reference. Still, sounds like a fun recovery move to use regardless.

lol Bowser and inconsistencies name a more iconic duo
In my head I was just thinking mostly of his weak Mario 1 and 3 jumps but I guess he does do that super jump attack multiple times. Although if you want my opinion I think it's so much higher than a normal jump because the attack is meant to mimic Mario and how he jumps on people. In the video I touched a tiny bit on how one of Bowser's core design principles is being a foil to Mario (his aerials for instance are intentionally similar to Mario's) So I imagine that since jumping is often how Mario attacks he would adopt his own jump attack. Someone else suggested adding this jump attack as an up B but I considered it already referenced with down B. What do you think?

@@sleepyswampert I think honestly up B should be a GIANT jump, like a bit like dedede's,but even better,a very good recovery but the problem is Bowser is completly vulnerable while jumping and falling and when he lands he is still vulnerable to some attacks for a good 2 seconds.

@@sleepyswampert I imagined an entire moveset for Bowser, though I don't think it's as good as yours, tell me what you think:
Instead of doing 1 slap and 1 punch like in ultimate,he does 2 slash attacks with his claws, then bites the opponent sending them flying, the first slash does 5%,the second does 6 and the bite does 10% and sends flying ridiculously high,it can do 21% at max,it references how Bowser uses both claws and bites in the paper mario games, however the bite is the only thing that launchs the opponent, the claws barely make them move from their spots.
The one quick punch stays the same, but now it is OP,it does 30% and sends ridiculously high, can kill at low very easily.
The slash the opponent while they are in the air can stay, but jeez don't make it so big,how can Bowser cover such a distance? Does he break his arm or something?
The...weird spin my arms and legs to hit the opponent definitely has to go,it's not Bowser and it's just weird, replace it by Bowser spining in his shell,it hits 4 times, the first 3 times it does 4% then the last on does 5,5. It doesn't send them flying as high as the bite or the quick punch but it still launchs them a bit.
The other slash attack you do when you jump and attack forward can stay,I like it it's not bad.
The jump then attack the behind with a kick, however, replace it by Bowser hiting whoever is behind him with his shell, when you do that, the shell launchs a spike at the opponent, the shell does 15 % whereas the spike does 5%,even if the opponent dodges the shell they can still be hurt by the spike.
Keep the headbutt,it's good, same for the shell falling at the opponent.
For normal B,it should be if you press B Bowser would shot fireballs, they are average speed, bigger than mario and ridley's fireballs and go into the air like luigi's,when the hit,it creates a average sized explosion dealing 5% and sending the opponent quick far but not too far unless your opponent is at high %,you can shot fireballs while you are in the ground or in the air,but not if you're moving, you have to stay still to shot the fireballs, and while you are doing your recovery you cannot shot fireballs, you can still do the normal fire breath but you have to hold the B button,so you press B to shot fireballs and you hold B to do the normal fire breath.
Keep Bowser's flying slam it's freaking awesome tho.
The down B is good, but I have a idea to make it better, whenever Bowser lands on the floor for a normal jump, not the down B,but for a normal jumps, when he lands he creates 2 shockwaves, one goes to the right, the other goes to the left, they are quick slow and while dissapear when touching the edge of a platform, but they do 5% and send quick high and can kill easily if your % is high enough. The down B however, creates 6 shockwaves,3 to the right and 3 to the left, the down B itself does 26,5 %,if you land right on top of your opponent, all six shockwaves hit him,it does Literally 56,5% and can kill at extremely low. However, when you land to the ground after you did you recovery,it doesn't create any shockwaves,in fact the recovery does launch you high in the air,it doesn't do any damage to your opponent, and you are very vulnerable for 2 seconds after you recovery and while you are doing it,there's only one thing that protects you while you are doing the recovery:shell armor, tough guy is cool but it's gonna be replaced by shell armor,it's kinda similar to K.rool's belly but for Bowser's back, and unlike K.rool's belly, the shell cannot break, and if you hit Bowser back, even if Bowser is at 999%,if you hit his back he wouldn't even move even at 999% ,the shell armor can't break and protects Bowser from any attacks that hits his back, you can only damage Bowser by hiting infront of him,or over him or under him,you can't attack him by behind because his shell while block it,for exemple,Bowser is at high % and the opponent is about to finish you off with one attack? Just turn behind, the attack wouldn't do anything, then when he finished his attack,PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE! The only thing that can go through Bowser's shell is a final smash, and Bowser's shell wouldn't break from it anyway.
Bowser's crouching attacks are nice,I'd keep them all except one,the ground pound,I mean, you already have it for down B,why use it for crouching? Instead,it's a pary move, like Sephiroth's shield and K.rool's belly,Bowser would create his mario odyssey shield protecting his everything,it lasts 3 seconds,if someone hits the shield,Bowser would drop it then swing his tail at them, throwing them away and also creating a huge fire shockwave, the fire shockwave is fast and covers a huge part of the stage, and can kill ridiculously low,it does 23,7 %.
Now,for his smash attacks, instead of using a kick for his forward smash,it's the excellent punch from inside story,if you do excellent,it does 45 % and can kill the opponent at 0% if used correctly, you heard me right,it can kill them at 0% if used correctly,it's ridiculous,But in term of lifting and punching Strengh,Bowser is problably the strongest in smash bros so yeah it's fair (by strongest I mean in term of muscles, kirby would still beat him),Bowser's down smash would be him retreating in his shell and spining, the spining does 10,5 % the first 3 times, then the 4 time it does 5,5,it can do 37 % at max.
The up smash is not him hiting with his shell,that's....just weird, really, how does he do that? I think it should be him puting his hand on fire and hiting the air,it does 35 %,if you ask where that's coming from,in new super mario bros deluxe for the switch in the final fight when you are in jr's clown car, giant Bowser will sometimes put his hand on fire and hit the air trying to slap/punch you,and while yes he only did it once, the move is cool and puting his body parts on fire is something Bowser does a lot,in mario odyssey Bowser puts his tail on fire,he throws fire shockwaves,he summons spiky balls on fire,he makes fire surrend him while he breaths fire at mario and etc,so I think that move is good for him.
      What do you think?

    Bowser (Redesign) -
Bowser now uses his canon voice lines in the Mario games, as opposed to just making realistic monster grunts.
Special Ability (Shell Resistance): Bowser has a unique mechanic exclusive to him, where him and his spiky shell both have somewhat separate hurtboxes. His shell will resist 25% less knockback and hitstun from all incoming attacks, whereas Bowser himself take the usual hitstun and knockback in comparison, as usual. Also, when Bowser crouches, and the opponent tries to footstool him, then the opponent will take damage and vertical knockback from his large, spiky shell (just like Piranha Plant's footstool attack in Smash Ultimate). As a result however, Tough Guy will be removed.
Jab: Bowser slashes with his left claw, and then his right claw, followed up by a punch straight forward with his left fist. The first 2 slashes reference Bowser’s claw swipe attack from Super Mario Odyssey (and his original Jab in Melee and Brawl), while the last is a reference to his basic punch from Bowser's Inside Story.
Dash Attack (Sliding Haymaker): Bowser reels back his fist and performs a sliding punch forwards a fair distance. Based off of the Sliding Haymaker from Bowser’s Inside Story. It has a bit of startup, but it's a powerful Dash Attack.
Side Tilt (Fire Breath): Bowser blows out a stream of fire forward, hitting multiple times. Has great range, is long-lasting and is powerful, but surprisingly has a bit of startup, and high endlag. Can be angled up or down.
    Up Tilt: Unchanged.
Down Tilt (Stomp): Bowser stamps his feet onto the ground. The stomp also creates a shockwave near Bowser's foot that always trips opponents, regardless of percent, allowing for followups. The sweetspot sends at a horizontal semi-spike angle. This is a reference to one of his counterattacks in Bowser's Inside Story.
Side Smash (Bowser Punch): Bowser reels back his fist, and then delivers a straight lunge forward with his fist. Based off of his mighty punch from Bowser's Inside Story. Has immense power, but has long startup and high endlag.
Up Smash: Unchanged. However, the landing hitbox will be removed.
Down Smash (Fire Tail): Bowser engulfs his tail in flames, then sweeps it in a circle around himself. This is a reference to an attack that he does in Super Mario Odyssey. It's rather slow to startup, but the attack is very powerful.
Neutral Aerial: Bowser performs a belly flop with his plastron (kind of like King K. Rool's Neutral Aerial). Inspired by one of his attacks from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.
Forward Aerial: Unchanged. As of now, it could be based on his aerial claw swipe attack from Super Mario Odyssey.
    Back Aerial: Unchanged.
Up Aerial: Bowser breathes a small blast of fire from his mouth upward. Has slow startup, but is large and powerful.
Down Aerial (Bower Bomb): Bowser's old Down Special will now be his new Down Aerial, where Bowser performs a ground pound, plummeting straight down butt-first. Will spike opponents as he is falling down until the move ends.
Grab: Bowser reaches forward with both hands. He then lifts the opponent up slightly with both arms. This is a reference to the way he picks up Giant Luigi in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.
    Pummel: Unchanged.
Forward Throw: Bowser lifts the opponent over his head, and chucks them forward. Bowser has done this move in a few Mario games, like Super Mario 3D Land, Bowser’s Inside Story, and Super Mario Odyssey. A very strong kill Throw.
Back Throw: Bowser heaves the opponent off the ground and above his head, then tosses them away behind him (It's basically just like Dr. Mario's Back Throw). A very strong kill Throw.
Up Throw (Flying Slam): Bowser's old Side Special has been moved to his Up Throw. Bowser jumps high up with the opponent, and performs a flying body slam onto the ground, launching them diagonally upwards. A very strong kill Throw.
Down Throw: Bowser performs a chokeslam on the opponent, grabbing their face and slamming them on the ground. Bowser's main combo Throw.
Getup Attack (Facing Down): Bowser breathes fire around himself.
Neutral Special (Fire Blast): Bowser's new Neutral Special will be him spitting out a large fireball! By pressing B, Bowser will start to inhale a breath of fire as his head begins to glow red. The move will begin charging automatically unless you shield-cancel the move, like Hero's Neutral Special, though the charge won't be stored. The move has 3 stages depending on how long you leave the move charging for. For the first stage, Bowser will fire a single small fireball forward, dealing 8% damage when hit. The second stage launches a medium-sized fireball that does 3 consecutive hits, dealing 16% damage. And finally, the third stage will fire a large fireball that does 5 consecutive hits before launching the opponent, like Hero's Kafrizz, dealing at total of 24% damage. The projectile is VERY powerful once it's fully charged. However, the move does have a 4th stage, and it's a pretty bad one. If the Fire Blast is held for too long, then it will cause Bowser to cough up a few smoke clouds, dealing low damage and causes no flinching, leaving him open for punishment, like in Bowser's Inside Story.
Side Special (Spikeball): Bowser's new Side Special will be his Spikeball ability from Super Mario Galaxy and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Bowser rolls his shell up into a spiky ball, and then rushes forward. Bowser will bounce off and return to normal if he comes into contact with an opponent or a wall. It's a very powerful attack, being able to KO opponents well above 70% or higher thanks to it's high horizontal knockback, but hitting a shield or missing the attack will leave Bowser WIDE open for a punish, making the move very commital to throw out (it's very unsafe on-block). This move is basically a high-risk, high reward attack meant to throw off your opponent or as a surprise-attack, where if it misses, then you'll be eating one big punish, but if the move manages to connect, then it'll REALLY send the opponent flying. The move can be used in midair to aid as a recovery too, it travels less distance than on the ground, Bowser will be put into free-fall once the move ends (unless the move actually connects, then he can act again). Bowser is also granted projectile-resistant armor when using this move, meaning that Bowser can power through any projectile while he is charging forward, which is a great way for Bowser to approach most zoner characters. However, the armor only works against projectiles, and not physical attacks. The move only has armor on the ground, and not in the air.
Up Special (Body Slam): Bowser's new Up Special will be the Body Slam from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Bowser retreats into his shell and flips high into the air, and stays there for a bit. You can move left and right slightly at the peak of his jump, too. At the peak of his jump, if you press B again, then Bowser will come crashing downward inside his shell, dealing damage to any opponent underneath him. The move can meteor smash any opponent underneath him if the opponent is airborne. The attack itself emits a shockwave upon landing and will break full shields if all of its grounded hitboxes connect. The jump itself doesn't go very high, but the attack itself is quite powerful!
Down Special (Whirling Shell): Bowser's old Up Special has been moved to his Down Special, the Whirling Fortress (now renamed into Whirling Shell). Bowser retreats into his shell and spins. Bowser can move left or right while he is spinning with the analog stick. The move is no longer a multi-hit attack, but is rather a single-hit attack that ends much quicker, but the attack now comes out on Frame 7. This is Bowser's main "get off me" tool in neutral. Bowser can jump while using the attack to strike airborne opponents, but upon landing, he will immediently return to normal. The attack can only be activated if Bowser is on the ground, however. By repeatedly tapping B however, then Bowser can spin for longer while on the ground, but the later hits will be noticeably weaker.
Final Smash (Fury Bowser): Bowser's new Final Smash will the the big and sinister Fury Bowser! Bowser lets out a sinister and rageful roar as black ooze surrounds him. Then he rises from the background as Fury Bowser! Fury Bowser then raises his head into the air and flames erupt from its mouth. A reticle then appears on the stage and when the button is pressed, Fury Bowser spits out a large beam of fire at the spot where the reticle was. This stream of fire deals large amounts of racking DMG before launching them away! After that, Fury Bowser transforms back into regular Bowser and returns to the stage.

Honestly, I forgot that I never gave my suggestions for Bowser, but it seems that there was no need since this moveset is very similar to what I had in mind! Great job! There are only a few changes and visual enhancements I'd make:
-I'd keep nair as the multihit it is now, just with your animation change. The stupid animation is the only thing I didn't like about that move.
-Bring back the old Brawl and SSF2 dair. That move was really fun.
-I like the new f-tilt, however I think it'd be a nice attention to detail if when he uses the Wedding alt, he used the punching gloves instead of his hands like Mario does in Odyssey.
-For up tilt, instead of using his claw, he should instead swing a hammer above himself. (I'm not sure which one though, either the short one he throws in Mario 1, or the long one he uses in Skylanders. Either would work.)
-When Bowser shields, he should totally do the same pose he does whenever Mario's attacking him in Odyssey. Ya know, for fun!
-He should have either a Midbus color or perhaps even full-on alternate costume!
-And lastly, my personal favorite idea, I think it would be sick if for his side B, he could summon some of his goons to assist him in battle. Think like Jr. does in that one side mode, except this time it's Bowser. Visually, Bowser would point his finger forward while the goon comes out of a red Warp Pipe. As for which goons, I think Goombas, Koopas, Red Paratroopas, Spinies, Bloopers, and Spikes would be the best choices, though it could be changed if need be. They would appear in that same order and be summoned in a set rotation, similar to Ginyu in DBFZ. Their functionality and behavior would be pretty obvious to anyone who's ever played a Mario game. I think it would be neat to finally represent that Browser us the leader of his own army, and also it just sounds like a fun move to use.

That shield animation makes so much sense lol why didn't I think of that! For side B it's true that his minions are important to Bowser but he's more than willing to fight independently. Usually they go out of their way to offer help instead of him asking for help, you know what I mean? They worship him for some reason but he isn't dependent on them so I could see him being perfectly confident joining Smash without them. He certainly has enough abilities to hold his own. I would rather they remain as background pieces to smash like subspace enemies and assist trophies. They would also make a good final smash but Giga Bowser is cooler.

Quick Idea: What if there a weaker Fire Ball? Or should I said: “Fire Bar,” because my idea is that if Bowser get the weakest fire breathe, it will be the fire bar that resembles his fire balls in Super Mario Bros.. Another idea I had is that fire attacks will do least damage at him, but I think the Pokèmon like Charizard, Greninja etc should had that. Also, sometimes it go onto the floor, it can’t kill but will do some damage to the opponent (But for real, just time it.)

What if when bowser is past 150% he enters a mode similar to bowsers fury wherehe is completly black and makes his moveset slightly better, also it ends after 15 seconds or past 165%
Also I dont agree with the final smash, in my personal opinion he should make an epic pose where he points with his finger to any direction you want (but you cant change the direction after that) then a goomba would be sent flying in that direction, it can go through multiple opponents. Then everyone affected by the goomba would be transported to bowsers castle, then rows and rows of troops would start a fight really flashy like an anime, then bowser will appear (I forgor to mencion they all are in that classic bridge with a button) bowser will laugh menacingly and jump to the button, with all the force in the universe and the galaxy, he will stomp with his foot the button and it will crack the floor beneath it, (in case you ask its the mario 3d land castle) and the opponents will fall into the lava. It will close the animation with the classic bowser laugh and face like mario 64 when you died.
Everything will change according to the circumstances, I would add 3 new places which would be, some random place you decide from super mario world, super mario 3d land and mario kart 7 (it will be some basic stuff like the troops and how bowser drops you but if you use the green bowser (3rd color) then he will use an axe) I would also add music from that games.
There would be dialouge if you trap mario, luigi, peach and yoshi also if you are in fury mode it will show on the final smash, and if you do a special input you will use a giga bowser variant which will deal more damage but its really hard to get the input and if you missclick something then it will do a slightly weaker version.
Well thats all, my fingers are tired and so is my ability to imagine more things

For Bowser’s Side Special I would’ve have him throw a Soccer Ball Bomb from 3D World. It would take 3 seconds for the bomb to explode after Bowser throws it towards a opponent. If someone touches the bomb when it’s about to explode they will take a small amount of damage. I would also change the Final Smash from Giga Bowser, to Fury Bowser, with the final smash being called Bowser’s Fury. It would have Bowser Jr. paint Bowser with Black Paint, then Bowser would grow into Fury Bowser. You would stay in the background for this final smash. You would be able to use 4 attacks, one each for the A, B, X, and Y buttons. A would be a slash across the stage, B would be the Fire Breath, X would have stone spikes come from his shell to land of the stage which could be used by other fighters to get more height, and Y would have Bowser tail swipe the stage, this would only hit the bottom of the stage.

For the up B maybe two koopa paratroopa's could lift him up kind of like Olimar's Winged Pikmin

This moveset is basically perfect, but I wish you had referenced his hammer throwing from Mario 1 in it somehow. It probably would be busted and not fit well with how he’s supposed to play, but I think it would have been a nice reference.

Trust me I'm with you, but like you said it doesn't mesh that well with his playstyle. Maybe his son can pick up where he left off

Maybe have Bowser swing the Hammer as option for F-Smash, D-Smash or N-Air? Either way, it'd be a neat touch to reference his battle from the original 8-4.

Could just be a taunt that damages a little like he reaches behind his back and sees a hammer and throws it backwards

Personally I'm fine with most of his current moveset and his design. I'd just change a couple of moves animations.
I agree with the f smash change. Just keep the same properties of armor and invincibility on the tip of the fist (pause)
I'd change his dash attack to the sliding punch in BIS
Finally I'd change his d tilt into a double sided tail swipe. The first hit is stronger and launches at a low angle forward. The second hit launches slightly up but it confirms into bair at later percents.
Other than that, I'd keep this moveset the same.
I just don't like his appeal in the smash bros series. (Including DK and Ganondorf) His personality is shallow. I'd change his voice to his canonical version, change his entrance into your suggestion, and his taunts.
His up taunt should be his signature laugh in Bowser's inside story.
His side taunt should be his roar but with fire instead of smoke. And have a small hitbox.
His down taunt should be his signature arm cross with a smirky smile.
Just changing that would be satisfying.

I’m sad he lost old forward tilt, but new dash attack is very welcomed. I think the neutral special should be just him shutting a fire ball like in, most his appearances. Overall (as a bowser main) I’m fine with this.

I say bowser’s gimmick has two versions depending on his percent, one when he’s 100% or less, which is tough guy, and once when he’s above 100%, tough guy flizzes out and he gains fury, while tough guy lowers his speed in exchange for increasing his survivability, fury increases his power and speed, in exchange for defense, and combo potential, with him turning into fury bowser instead of giga bowser for his final smash when he’s in fury mode, but unlike with giga bowser, fury bowser gets new and more powerful specials in exchange for less bulk, based of his boss fight.

I think the face needs a tweak though. The smash ultimate design is almost spot on, but the face still looks a bit too beastly, the eyes and hair should look the same as in the Mario games but with the same details exclusive to smash

What do you think, Bowser also redesigned his moveset too so I'll show you too
Jab: the first two would be one of the attacks that bowser does in his kaiju mode in new super mario bros wii and the third would be the same total DMG: 12%
Side Jab: It would be a hit with a hammer DMG: 5%
Jab up: it would be the attack to break platforms from new super mario bros 2 DMG: 5%
Jab down: would hit with his tail DMG: 2%
Dash attack: it would be that it will rotate with its shell (as in galaxy) and attack the enemy
Neutral aerial: it would be that it will rotate in its shell DMG: 9%
Forward air: it would be that he would launch the punch he gives in his second phase in galaxy 2 and it would be good to recover horizontally DMG: 8%
Back air: this will be weird, bowser would roar and then a meteor falls behind him and obviously it is a meteoric attack and its hitting the ground creates waves that are easy to evade and with good recoil DMG: 11% DMG waves: 2.5%
Up air: it would be that bowser will release his fire breath above as he did in galaxy 2 and I know that it also remains as down air but the crushing attack won him
down air: this would be the crushing attack that it does in galaxy and if it hits the ground it makes waves on the ground easy to evade and gives good recoil DMG: 12% DMG waves: 3%
Side smash: it would be that punch that gives in mario galaxy 2 and obviously it would give a fire effect and by the way if it hits a wall it will get stuck and be exposed, although unlike luigi it will take less DMG: 16% DMG: 21%
Smash up: it would throw a large fireball which is the same as the ones it throws in mario world and can actually stay there for 3 seconds before it disappears DMG: 12% DMG charged: 16%
down smash: it would attack with its tail as in mario odyssey and with fire effect as in odyssey DMG: 13% DMG: 17%
Forward Throw - would throw the enemy as if it were one of their hammers and also throw two hammers at the enemy DMG: 7%
Back throw: it would swallow the enemy as in bowser's inside story, it turns around and takes it flying, it would have a lot of knockback when becoming DMG: 6%
Up throw: he puts it in his koopa clown and then sends it fired like a cannon, as with the previous one this would launch the enemy very high although not as much as the previous DMG: 10%
down throw: it would be the same as your side special DMG: the same as your B side
Neutral special: I think some of you should already know why I change it since the fire that Bowser throws is not the iconic one since Bowser is seen throwing that type of fire but it is not the one that we all get used to since we all know that his fire is as his second customization in smash 4 which is a fire shot although it would be somewhat slow compared to the already known
side special: this would replace it with its bone shell, it changed the role of B above for B side, this changed it for something obvious, it is original or so I think, this one, unlike the original, would last longer and serve to recover horizontally instead of vertically
Up special: he would get into his koopa clown to fly for 6 seconds and then be launched as a cannonball up while you have a series of attacks while you are there and they are,
A: he throws mechakoopas that unlike his son's they walk to an indefinite direction and if you hit them they stay there and you can throw them DMG: 2%
B: Throw bombs equal to bob-ombas object DMG: same as bob-ombas
Pressed B: Throw the giant ball from your battle DMG: 5%
If you go to the ground and crash you can deal DMG damage: 7%, the problem is that if they hit him, bowser will be shot in the opposite direction from which he was hit
Second final smash: this one I think will be obvious would be that bowser would transform into that giant bowser in bowser's fury that what I saw in the trailers would release a powerful fire breath (this would be done by pressing B DMG: 18%) and launch his spikes as a platform (this is done by pressing A DMG: 9%), it would be in the background attacking and after 7 seconds bowser will return to normal
Other extra things are that Bowser should have his original voice (although we all know that), your input is and then you get off while saying '' show time '' and that Bowser's jumps are longer
