Originating a car key with a Lishi - Nissan

This video is intended to be a tutorial for originating a car key with a Lishi 2-1 pick and decoder. While Lishis are primarily designed for originating keys, they can also be used for simple lock outs in situations where reach tools or not ideal or the door frame doesn't cover the window and broken glass is a hazard.
For locks/ lishis which have missing bittings (ie cuts 1 and 2 missing on the lishi), a fill progression may be required. Most X-Horse cutters have a find bitting option which will give you potential fill progressions but if you are using a non X-Horse cutter that doesn't have this option, you can generate fill progressions on websites like lockcodes.com
Note: the NSN14 lock is generally considered to be one of the easiest but in my experience wafers reset more frequently with this lock than others, and while this doesn't make it more technically difficult, it does make it more time consuming.

if your making only an emergency key to open door, i think you need to do a fill progression. Just cut what you have on your lishi since it unlocked door, you can cut a key for just door opening if engine is push start or prox - i do this to save money wasting keys progressions that are not valid (when emergency only opens door)

Yep I tried to clarify that in the video. With the lishi, I got most of the cuts and the fill progression gave 4 possible remaining cuts. Normally I would have just used a plain DA34 to test the cuts but since I had a working key already I just visually identified which of the 4 was the correct one.
Either way, this wasn't a real customer. Just made the key for the sake of making a video to help out some coworkers who aren't familiar with lishis
