Is Dr. YangDao the Icon role model or the ultimate traitor?
Per many Hmong that find way to defend Dr. Yang Dao “DYD,” you stated clearly that there is nothing wrong regarding to DYD’s action toward the Hmong. So, best to just forgive, forget, and move on.
Of course, DYD is the first Hmong PhD. And, that title alone earned him the highest role model for Hmong people in general. That’s why Hmong community highly respected DYD as much as General Vang Pao “GVP” even though DYD done nothing in return to the Hmong compare to GVP.
Factual Info:
1.) In 1975, DYD was the only person against GVP for not taking the Hmong out of Laos after the Lao-Communist PDR took over. His reason, Laos only changed their new system; therefore, everything will be so fine. Even though DYD knew that Hmong would slowly be persecuted by Lao-PDR due to Hmong’s role of supporting the American Central Intelligence Agency “CIA” during the secret war in Laos. 2.) June 11th 2007, a crucial article from Wikileaks that DYD never wish to be published because it is a document that secretly put together about the Hmong from DYD to Lao-PDR as following link: @t
3.) December 2009, DYD and spouse went to receive the awards from Lao-PDR in Vientiane, Laos. They have taken pictures with key Lao-PDR individuals as following link: @t
These concrete evidences are pattern that DYD plan to accomplish since 1975. Per #2 & #3, it would be fine as it is if DYD still lives in Laos, but he is not. He escaped Laos too shortly after 1975 to France, relocated to USA, and live with GVP’s people whom he tried to stop in 1975. So, with these overwhelm evidences by DYD, shall Hmong just forgive, forget, and move on?
In order to forgive, forget, and move on, DYD must explain to the Hmong exactly what he did and trying so hard to accomplish. This is nothing else, but a pattern that stabbing the Hmong behind their back. Again, DYD’s actions did not occur accidentally, but intentionally and properly plan. For sure, he was not too drunk to take the initiative.
It must be the “Cause and Effect” known as “Karma.” That’s why DYD’s dirty works which he secretly put together against the Hmong just happened to be out in public and that DYD cannot control. So, anyone could see or read about it at any time. Here are the simple questions:
1.) What would happen to the Hmong if GVP took DYD advise in 1975 and taken none Hmong out of Laos?
2.) What purpose for the Wikileaks document? How much $$ paid by Lao-PDR to DYD in order for him to put his life on the line?
3.) Why Lao-PDR gave DYD an award on December 2009? Was it for his secret work?
For all that we have witness, it showed clearly that DYD’s secret connection with Lao-PDR is a none stop and it is real.
The saddest part is the Hmong Chao Fa whom could not escaped Laos as refugee to Thailand. They were being persecuted by Lao-PDR till this moment. They could not defend, but must hide themselves and family in the jungle for daily survival without food or medicine. At the same time, DYD worked side by side secretly with Lao-PDR to report the Chao Fa every movement. PRO: DYD is the first PhD whom set a path for many young Hmong Doctors, Lawyers, Nurse, Engineer, or high public office personnel.
CON: DYD’s dirty work against the Hmong is unacceptable for every single Hmong on earth.

For Author’s notes: I am a Yang too. Not only the Yang for Yang, but the Yang for Hmong and so proud to be a HMONG.
I cannot fanthom why Hmong people are such jealousy animals, don't even know any true facts but can be this gutsy to accuse others.
1) Up to this day there is still NO EVIDENCE GVP brought us to the US and insisted the US take in us. He only requested a few airplanes for his soldiers and their families. He is the very first one to board on the airplane and escape Laos, Hmong people know well of this but because of being bias and protecting who they only want to protect, they try to hide this embarrassment desperately. Nobody forgets 75 when everybody was fighting for airplane, it was not even enough for all the soldiers. Some considerate soldiers even understand as a leader you should not leave your people behind so they didn't board the airplane but walked and crossed the river to Thai. About DYD opposing GVP bringing us to US, you have no source to cite.
2) You don't even know if the award is a secret work or not, and already assume he is a traitor and cannot be forgive. It's ok that you are such a person because I can see that ALL HMONG people are like you too, nej sib sib phim li os, only know how to accuse your own kind and hate your own kind over something you don't even know for sure. Thank you for opening my eyes that Hmong are so disgusting, I will make sure to not be Hmong again and pass on this ugly nature to the next generation.
