    2010 Volvo V50, to remove the factory radio, remove silver trim and panel next to the E brake remove 2 torx screws #25. Remove the panel on the radio, pry out the display, and remove 2 torx screws . Pull out the radio little and remove the plug on the bottom side of the radio. Pull out the radio and disconnect all plugs. Disassemble the display module and separate the PC board tape the PC board and hide under part of the radio. The amplifier is located on the driver side trunk. Unplug the harness and connect all speaker wires and run up to the radio. Wire up the speaker wires to the new radio . Ignition wire can be found at the cigarette lighter plug, and the battery wire is at the radio plug .cut abs plastic to cover the hole
    I had to modify the silver trim to make the radio to sit flush with metal sleeve .Boss Audio BE9ACP.WX 9" wireless with SXM • Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™ (Wired, Wireless)

    Very cool video .
    Do you have an exact plan which cable of the T-harness that is connected to the CD player is to be used for what, because I would like to intercept the audio signal that comes from the CD being played

      @didoworld5320 Sorry, this is a fiberoptic system, we couldn't find any integration to enable factory cd player 😢

      You don't need to have a aux when you change out the radio like what we did. The new radio does not use any car audio system other than speakers

    Now you can't see the information of your climatecontrol and your parkingsensors won't work anymore. Looping the fiberoptic cabels

    Stupid, how put key in to power car. Small display better for space. Volvo have small space in cab

      Agree. But this 9" worked out fine. You just have to tilt it a little
