We all see a different color variation of Pteranodon when in Season 5, the flock of pteranodons on Mantacorp island attack the campers a green crested one is flying with the flock. Also, the rumors that it’s the JP3 individual were confirmed by the shows director in an interview with Swerve. And there’s a variant with a redish-pink frill of Dilophosaurus in season 5.
Yet no Triceratops at all

There is a screen in fallen kingdom in the bunker that says blue is a Velociraptor, with 2 species under the genus.
Oh they are, however Michael Crichton originally based his Velociraptor on Deinonychus.

Why dose everyone keep saying the Velociraptors are Deinonychus
It's been confirmed that both Velociraptor and Deinonychus are 2 separate gonrah in this universe
And in jurassic world fallen Kingdom
It's confirmed that the franchise Velociraptors are Velociraptor mongoliensis
Michael Crichton intended them to be Deinonychus so we continue with that in his memory.

It was a mistake on a computer screen by an intern who didn't know any better. Nothing was retconned. Also, let's not forget that Fallen Kingdom is horrible about its retcons, Isla Nublar was horrible. Don't take any of Fallen Kingdom's retcons seriously.

That's not a retcon
Because camp cretaceous still had the lagoon in the centre of isla nublar
But as for my explanation for why the lagoon is by the ocean
Because the map was based on where it was originally going to be
And is since this was only seen on the tracking map
It's most likely that whoever kept the tracking map like that though it would be easier to track the Mosasaurus if it escaped
Because instead if tracking it all the way from the lagoon to the ocean
They could beat it to the ocean a capture it
Nope, Trevorrow said it was a mistake and never should have been on the coast.
