  • Let's test the 2.3's PSI, GPM, Voltage and Amperage!
    These are the results when we tested our 2.3 prototype. As product development advances, we will be creating a new video to show you the upgrades we've implemented on its performance.
    We've talked a lot about how we're aiming for this bad boy to have a constant 2.3 GPM, but as they say, "I'll believe it when I see it." Let us know what you think so far!

      How much of a difference does a 1.2 vs 2.0 gpm make when washing/rinsing? how noticeable is it?

    • @bmer6682
      @bmer6682 6 місяців тому +1

      yes very noticeable, especially washing off the soap after a pre foam or contact wash. also more water flow will make your foam cannons perform better and lay down some thick foam @@whitegoodman7465

    I know you talked about it in the past, but the sound is pretty awesome. Aside from getting more flow, the sound of the machine is also a huge benefit.

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  7 місяців тому

      The ‘tone’ of the motor is different - more like a hum as opposed to a whine - but ultimately the sound level is quite comparable.

      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS Howdy!! Over the past years, I have owned the Cat 1800, the original VE52 and currently running 2.0. I gave my Cat 1800 to a close friend. They still love it. Bought the 2.0 because I thought my VE died but it didn't. Lol

    Great testing, great data, straight to the point. Is there any sound data available comparing the 2.3 vs 2.0? I have a 2.0, and it's great, but wish it was quiter living in a town home with 1 neighbor. Any data available?

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  6 місяців тому +1

      We will certainly make the data available when production versions are ready. However, I will caution that the sound levels are similar - it’s the type of sound that’s different. This is a lower hum vs the 2.0 which is a higher pitched whine. So many will find it “sounds” quieter. Both are our patented pump designs so they all tend to run smoother and quieter than comparable units.

    Awesome for you to share this information! So it should be safe to use the 4.0 nozzle on a dedicated 20A circuit then? Also still thinking there should be a 240v product at some point.... especially since I have several 240v outlets at my house (14-50) lol.

    I purchased two of your Pressure Washer, 2.0 love those pressure washers best thing ever I can trust these special washers. If not damaging my customers paint that one looks like a big motor has a lot of power. Looks like it will damage my customers paint.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  7 місяців тому +1

      Actually, it won’t. I would say the emphasis is on more flow and more pressure, but driving more flow is more important (or impactful you could say) than max pressure and less water. Regardless, at these pressures and using the right spray pattern there should be no risk to paint.

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  7 місяців тому

      Yes it is. To get to a pressure level needed to make a significant difference, you need to go to gas PW or a dedicated high amperage circuit. Otherwise, for household electric units, flow is more important.

    ❤ just thinking with this machine you will probably need a 1.5 millimeter opening for the foam Cannon and not a 1.25 as that is equivalent to approximately of 3.5 which would probably be closer to 18 amp draw

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  7 місяців тому

      We can’t stop people from customizing their set ups to achieve their ideal foam and operating parameters. However, we are trying to educate people that there are limits to what can be done based on things like motor specs and power draw. Stay tuned for more.

  • @dscarsella1

    I was hoping for a bit more gpm at 1100psi...i know the real push here is for a longer lasting machine...but due to the better motor its less effected by nozzel size...darn you better motor..

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  7 місяців тому

      Yes, there are some technical considerations that we will go into detail on. I think giving people more information will lead to a better understanding of what’s possible and helps people to manage their expectations.

    im using a 3.0 nozzle and on a 15 amp outlet and its not tripping, any idea why?

    • @ACTIVEPRODUCTS
      @ACTIVEPRODUCTS  2 місяці тому

      It's hard to say, that should be drawing more than 15A. Still, we wouldn't recommend using a 3.0 nozzle. Drawing too much current can cause damage to the microswitch and capacitator.

    Seriously interested as my 16 month AR Blue 630TSS just leaked oil all over my garage and AR said, "Oh, I'm sorry, you're out of warranty, let me send you links where you can pay someone to fix it." I just built my whole garage around this pressure washer, hopefully the Active 2.3 will easily take its place this spring. Anyone want to buy a slightly used AR-630TSS?
