Hiking To The Beautiful But Unknown Snow Mountain Closest to Lhasa | China Travel

Qiongmugangri Snow Mountain, 7,048 meters above sea level, is located in Nyimu County, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It is the last peak at the southern end of the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains. If you happen to be taking the Lari Ring Line, or want to take a day trip from Lhasa, you can easily reach it. The entire hike is about 3 kilometers, with little climbing and a slightly higher altitude of more than 5,000 meters. It’s not difficult if you don’t have altitude sickness.
Qiongmugangri means "goddess of wisdom" in Tibetan language.
