Cauaw she can only generate as much string as her body could produce if becoming string. So when she loses parts she loses strings to so fixing it was not exactly the issue, was where would she use the string for that. Also im not sure but maybe Yo Yo Ma can prevent to heal or take back what he takes from you as diver down could not fix by any kind of body manipulation the wounds it did on Anastasia.
