The reason that players like to ask for shuttle change as far as we know is a trick to buy more time catching their breath between rallies. Also, not all the shuttle in the same pack will have the same quality and may break depends on how it is hit. You can only do the test on a sample shuttle and the rest is passed if the sample shuttle is passed. There is no way to test every single shuttle. Even in analytical chemistry lab which I'm doing, we can only have time to test the product sample.
