Such a special day. It felt like so much more than just a game of rugby, and it was such a privilege to be there. Massive credit to both teams for putting on such a show. Big thanks to you guys as well for nailing the content through the tournament.
Very impressed with the French players post match. They appeared very gracious in defeat. Well don’t the Roses but no nail biting finish next time please.
Definitely the best atmosphere in a LONG time - HQ was bouncing! Seeing the teams walk out was incredible, the roar when Rowland broke through & Dow scored England's first try is unforgettable. A huge contrast to the days of watching Red Roses matches down at Esher, or the RWC 2010 at Surrey Sports Park & even the matches at Twickenham after men's fixtures. I remember watching a men's match in the Patch (as couldn't get a ticket), then walking against the crowds to HQ to watch the women's match as it was open gate...how times have changed. Hope I can get tickets for the RWC2025!!
Not my first visit to Twickenham, by any means, but this time, it was with my granddaughters - 8 and 10. Neither of them play the sport and neither had ever been to a venue of the size and quality of HQ. To say that they had the time of their lives is an understatement. They loved it from start to finish and were even allowed down to pitchside by a very helpful female steward, where they managed to have the Red Roses flags signed and got a couple of photos with the players. As for me, it was a fabulous outing. A real festival of rugby and a great match - ending up in a nail-biting finish. Even if the granddaughters don't end up playing, the opportunity to see these brilliant athletes - from both teams - has been good on so many levels. My thanks to all those who have put so much effort in to making the day such a success. Just hope there'll be tickets for the World Cup!
Typically you have forgotten without the opposing sides you would not be in this position so many others have laid the platform for use to be here today

Wish I could have been there but I was working! Absolute legends though, I'll be booking the France game off next year!
We’ve been looking forward to a post match review🎉

I agree. I was impressed by their sportsmanship.
It was good to see Pauline Bourdon congratulating Simon at the end.
You were fantastic, congratulations
Well done ladies, but we have to step another level again the rest will only get better
Were you there at Twickenham!? What was your favourite part of the day?
I was there and I can honestly say that it was the best atmosphere I have felt at Twickenham, and I have been going since the Pilkington Cup days!
@@jamiepallant9100 Great to hear!
