How to Make 26 Colors from Only 5 Primary Colors in 8 minutes!

Hello! In this video, I’ll demonstrate how to create 26 or more stunning colors using just primary colors. By mixing these colors with white, you can make them brighter, and by mixing with black, you can create darker shades. This technique allows you to expand your palette with a wide range of colors. I’m using acrylic paints for this demonstration.

Really interesting demo. I’m so used to using a split primary palette that I couldn’t imagine getting some of those colors. I still think it would be hard to mix lavender or fuchsia without crimson.

I’m sorry to be the super observant one, but explain to me how once they add the colors together the tray cell is about half full, then when done mixing it becomes full? I think we’re not seeing all the mixing.

This is a mathematical problem.
With 5 primary colors, you could make 5C1 (using one color each time), 5C2 (using 2 colors each time), 5C3 (using 3 colors), 5C4 (using 4 colors) and 5C5 (using all 5 colors).
Total, 5C1+5C2+5C3+5C4+5C5
