You know a play was wild when both commentators uncontrollably go “OHHHHHH” simultaneously (8:15)
even though it wasn’t a buzzer beater swish, it bouncing 4 times then going in was even better.
was that not a travel?
That Lindor Grandslam was the loudest thing that I have witnessed and I was at Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals and also in the Q for the Game 7 watch party when the Cavs won it. Anyway, that stadium was shaking when that was hit. The entire upper deck was bouncing.
Im a simple man. I see Game 7 Caps vs Rangers, I pound the skip ten seconds button. too much pain.
At least Ovi got his cup. Happy to see that as a rangers fan. Unfortunate hank couldn’t get one
SAME BRO, SAME
nightmare fuel.. dark days for us caps fans. that and the bonino goal in game 6 were the worst.
guy you had 94, relax
2014 Karma tbh
I have been to dozens of rock and metal shows, usually as close to the stage as I can get, but I have never been in a louder venue than the Shark Tank during the final 10 minutes of regulation + overtime in that Game 7 against Vegas. As soon as that first power play goal went in, it was pandemonium. I couldn't hear or talk normally for two days afterwards. One of the best hockey games and playoff series of all time
That place is just perfect for loud. It's like it was built for noisy crowds, and the Sharks have such a loud fanbase on top of that. Really fun place to watch a game too.
My biggest regret as a bay area sports fan is listening to my mom and not getting tickets for that game
@@joekaput747 omg you got so close to making a lifelong memory.. maybe next time the sharks make the playoffs you'll go to the right game ;)
Being at that ALDS game and living through Frankie's grand slam (5:26) is a moment I will never forget. Absolutely incredible.
Wow, congrats on being there!
I was at the Bautista batflip game. I'll send you an autograph if you pay the postage.
Love it. The video starts with Allen Fieldhouse "The Phog" setting the World Record for the loudest indoor crowd roar of 130.4 dbs.
Pay Heed All Who Enter: Beware Of The PHOG!
All FOUR parts of this series could be filled with Allen Fieldhouse clips.
ua-cam.com/video/z7Db5g8p7t8/v-deo.html
@@Ofinfinitejest I've seen that video. I've seen every Jayhawk video on that channel. I'm kind of hoping that he does some more. Part 2's to those compilations.
Go Cats
You could say Ole Miss pissed that game away.... 😂😂😂
It worked out for ole miss.. we got rid of our coaching staff and got lane kiffin. It was a small price to pay that worked out for the rebels
4:38 :O I didn't know Sam Rosen called football games!
0:01 RIP Headphone Users
Loved that Vin Scully was on the call of The Catch
I've always been partial to Don Klein's call for KCBS but Scully's is excellent as well. He, like Pat Summerall, was lowkey versatile.
@Luke Sanchez I'd argue Summerall was understated and precise with his words, at least for football. Ray Scott, who called NFL for CBS in the 1960s and 1970s, was the same way. TV is a visual medium and while some broadcasters do a great job enhancing the moment, some do well enough to let the moment speak for itself.
@Luke Sanchez I dunno - I'd say (and again, this is for TV not radio) that it can be very effective for a high intensity sport like football. The NFL and television basically came up together and are made for each other. It is such a visually captivating sport that it barely needs commentary at all to be an enjoyable watch. Now, again, there have been play-by-play broadcasters who do a lot to enhance a moment through their work (Dick Enberg and Al Michaels immediately come to mind) but if that isn't your style, then better to be more "show don't tell" like Summerall and Scott. Plus, Summerall had John Madden with him as his color commentator for all those years and they did a fine job complementing each other, with Summerall's lowkey and minimalist approach and Madden's excitable chattiness. They were the great "yin and yang" for national football broadcasts.
@Luke Sanchez I've come around on Joe Buck and I do think he gets an inordinate amount of crap. That might be because he did come off a bit smarmy in his early years - something Summerall wasn't - but it might also be due to him not really having a Madden-like foil in the booth.
@Luke Sanchez - I've broadcast sports for nearly forty years and I can tell you that you don't have to be a screamer like Gus Johnson, for example, to be successful. The very best football broadcasters always leave something at the top of the excitement scale for the truly amazing. Summerall was a pro's idea of a pro, transitioning from color to PxP during his career and doing both with equal ease.
Loved these compilations! If you ever choose to do a part 4, might I suggest:
-Game 5 of the 1976 ALCS - Chris Chambliss hits one over the centerfield wall at Yankee Stadium and an actual riot breaks out.
-1982 NFC Championship: Darryl Grant picks off Gary Hogeboom and scores a TD, causing RFK Stadium to break out into hysterics
-2006 ALCS, game 4: Magglio Ordonez puts it in the seats to win Detroit its first pennant since 1984 - the crowd responds as such.
One more just because I’m a homer
Game 7 2010 ALCS My Rangers went to the world series for the first time, we beat the Yankees and as a added bonus, the final out was A-Rod
I was at that pirates/reds game 3:57 crowd literally bullied cueto out of his mind. then they put in a relief pitcher who threw some serious heat and shut everyone up
I know you are in an arena, but playoff hockey just hits different. Even baseball and college football get nuts
Loving these!
For part 4:
2015 WS gm 1: Alex Gordon HR in 9th to tie game
2019 AFC CG: Patrick Mahomes running TD and 4th quarter pass TD to Sammy Watkins
2008 NCAA National Championship: Mario Chalmers ties it with less than 10 seconds left.
Also, McGwire hits #62 in 1998
2003 NLCS: Sammy Sosa ties game 1 in the 9th
2004 ALCS game 4: Dave Roberts steal and score, big papi walkoff
And a couple Tennessee Vols from 1998: OT win vs Florida, and Stumble & Fumble by Arkansas
I mean, those are fine and all, but until you hear that glass shatter, you haven’t heard a real crowd reaction!
I promise you, the Perine run Auburn @ Florida was the loudest CFB moment of the 2010's
Kick six was louder
I was in my second year of teaching when that KU-WVU game happened. It was kinda fun joking with one of my students the next morning about how we both stayed up past our bedtime to watch the end 😂
And yet, these pale in comparison to what would happen in the United Center in chicago mere days after this video was uploaded. #SummerOfPunk
Baseball games need better audio. It's louder than what it appears to be on tv.
Allen Fieldhouse is the loudest arena in the U.S.!! Rock Chalk!!
My favorite loudest crowd reactions from this 3rd video:
3:03
Brent Seabrook's G7 OT Goal vs. Red Wings in the 2013 Western Conference Semifinals
3:19
The Miracle in Miami (Patriots vs. Dolphins) Dec. 9, 2018
4:26
Dwyane Wade's "This is My House!" Buzzer Beater vs. Chicago Bulls on March 9, 2009
5:28
Francisco Lindor's Grand Slam vs. Yankees in Game 2 of the 2017 ALDS
6:45
Barclay Goodrow's OT Goal vs. Golden Knights in Game 7 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs (Round 1)
11:15
Aaron Boone's G7 Walk-Off Home Run in the 2003 ALCS against the Red Sox
14:21
David Bote's Walk-off Grand Slam against the Nationals on Aug. 12, 2018
If UA-cam was on during 2003, I would've nominated the 03 SCF Game 6 because of the famous Paul Kariya goal! What he went through for him to come back, the Pond went from dead silent to ROCKING
And Gary Thornes call was legendary, “Off the Floor, On the Board!”
altuve walkoff vs the yankees one of the sickest reactions ever
The Al Harris Pick Six is gold because Matt Hasselbeck opened his mouth by claiming they were going to score after they won the toss to start overtime.
2:34 I gotta say I’ve never seen a half court shot look so easy.
8:10 I didn't realize it until this compilation but Kawhi traveled before the shot right after catching the inbounds.
Do they even call traveling anymore ?
Your right, and traveling on game ending plays are most frustrating to see (unless that’s your team).
Gather
Detroit Pistons vs Dallas Mavericks.
Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys.
I was at 2 of those! The Raiders- Chiefs and the Sharks comeback against the Knights.
We Believe Warriors should've been in this! Also, A's vs Tigers playoffs when Justin Verlander said he'd never played in such a loud baseball stadium before, and Raiders AFC Championship game win in Oakland against the Titans too. That one was insane. Possibly Lakers-Celtics game 7 when Kobe beat Boston. I was at all of those, and they were deafening!
Basically a compilation of why I watch amateur and professional sports
The Ohio state OT one was BS. Game was so rigged. Michigan won that game.
Rock Chalk Baby
14:00 should’ve done the one recorded from the field.. the tv version doesn’t do it justice
Outside Kauffman Royals winning 2015 ALCS still gives me chills
JT was still short.
4:05 is the most people ive ever seen at pnc park
You need to do Oklahoma at Mizzou football 2010. #11 knocks off #1 with a kickoff runback and rushing the field.
Great game that was. Carried the goal posts through downtown to Harpos after stormimg the field. I couldn't get to my seat for all the people so I had to park it on the staircase halfway up. Thats how crowded it was.
0:01 combined with all of them yelling is enough to break glass
Was there for the Kawhi Leonard shot. My ears were still ringing well into the next day. Definitely beat the other clincher I was in the crowd for - the 2016 ALDS Game 3 when the Jays swept the Rangers in the bottom of the 10th, which was almost as loud.
till this day as a sixers fan kawhi walked
To this day nobody knows why gronk was playing safety
Those were ALLLLLL videos that gave goosebumps, but dammit did y'all HAD TO make the 97 WS last?!?! Brought back hurt feelings.
I was at that Raider game against the chiefs. It was the one and only game I got to experience in Oakland. So insane.
VT vs Miami in 2011 should be here, insane crowd reaction
I can't believe it's not on here. "Now Miami wants to talk about it..."
@@devincolahan3932 one my favorite moments in all of college football, pretty sure that game measured on the Richter scale
@@johnblake7169 Lane Stadium has had multiple moments register on the scale, I do think that was one of them
Pretty sure as well that was one of the Richter scale moments
One loud crowd that isn’t in any of the three videos was when Tennessee defeated Florida in 1998.
The year that the arizona cardinals went to the super bowl. One of the line backers who did that jump over the front line sack is from my school.
Detroit Red Wings vs Chicago Blackhawks.
Michigan State Spartans vs Michigan Wolverines💚💙
Hockey’s becoming less urban than football and basketball
Could you possibly ad decibel readings on the games/reactions?
Detroit Pistons vs Chicago Bulls.
Wait 3:32 why was Gronk even in for that play??
Alright now do Neyland stadium
4:31
Detroit Tigers vs Chicago Cubs.
BUTLER! LONG SHOT GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!
Detroit Lions vs Chicago Bears.
Anytime the Yankees lose it's a great day!!!
4:29
Man…I miss Allen fieldhouse. Nothing will ever compare.
Mackey arena in West Lafayette Indiana
@@kylestone3177 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 I want whatever drug you’re on. Literally only the 5th best arena in their own conference. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I've been to a Buffalo sabers game and I thought it was crazy then after the overtime goal . But it's a known fact that Buffalo fans are rowdy lol 😂 would love to be at a playoff game
that kawhi leonard bucket, time running out, game 7. doink.... doink, doink, doink. pandemonium.
The Fox homerun sound is epic.
At (8:15) The nba goes like 0.0 In timer on Game 7 2019 3rd Round
At (8:30) The Final Now Is 92-90 On 2019
Great video but I believe it's missing the loudest building in the NHL. More specifically, it's missing Anthony Beauvillier's game 6 overtime winner vs the Tampa Bay Lightning to force game 7 in the "Stanley Cup Semi Final". The last game at the Coliseum and they closed it out with a bang
The crowds in Wii sports: 0:01
You must be a dolphins fan. Your joking right? There’s only like 40k in attendance for those games and half are from the other team.
Me: Can't wait to see what's in this one!
*Sees Raptors/Sixers Game 7 pop up.*
Me: Oh....Oh no.
Honourable mention is cubs beating the Indians but the at wicket field
how'd you miss the Eagels pick 6 in the NFC Champoinship?
Another example of just how bad Joe Buck is compared to someone like Matty V
3:49 look at the bottom left, that security guard couldn’t help but cheer for his team
The double by edgar martinez shook the walls of the kingdome
No “Miracle on Ice” anywhere… 🤨🤷🏻♂️
BRO MLS?
I was waiting for the Lindor Grand Slam to make one of these videos
Say what you want but pro wrestling crowds are much louder. This coming from a MLB, college football and all basketball fan.
Gimme whatever you’re smoking
The first one hurts as a Michigan Fan
College sports aren't really a good showcase of these. You have a crowd full of 1 school and a tiny section for the other. Its like going to a family get together and then invite the family from 3 streets over.
Uhh, home field advantage? Duh?
Wait, why are the Klaw Dagger and The Catch I relegated to Part 3? These are 2 of the greatest plays of all-time.
But that KING FISH at the end was well worth it
Could you do loudest fans in Canadian sports
You missed the best one: Penn State beating Ohio State on a blocked punt. That place was juiced!
part 1
Techincally the Raptors one wasn't American history bruh
Pretty sure Canada is part of North America yo...
Meanwhile in Europe......
SHANTE
We know there won’t be any golf in here
Some Tiger Woods at the Masters shots would belong
Dub
What about Keith Nichols' hail mary game-winning touchdown catch against Wisconsin back in 2011 with the score tied at 31-31?
Or Hail Westerkamp in Nebraska vs northwestern
Helio Castroneves 4th Indy win is pretty wild, considering it's normally hard to hear the crowd at all, the fact that you can hear them is impressive.
Kansas has got to have the loudest fans for any of their sports teams
Mannnnnn you had to include Johnny Queto dropping the ball to
tell me yall haven't experienced European basketball without telling me you've never experienced European basketball lol
european basketball is nuts. and most americans have no idea
If TAMU Vs Bama Seth Small field goal isn’t on part 4 imma be mad. I still feel deaf after that
