I miss this place so bad, my dad used to work for that restaurant ... I used to live 5 mins walk from where u are right now. Memory lane right here sis. its been 12 years now I live abroad back then it was more vibrant, lively idk what happened but I always realized that that the tides get mad high at times.
Just found your Discover JA travel vlogs. Refreshing that you speak on matters such as sea erosion and illegal fishing, and not just skim the surface when travelling throughout Jamaica. Keep it up!👏🏾
Thanks a lot for stopping by, I hope you'll stick around. The way we treat the environment which contributes to Climate change has always been close to my heart. If by trying to be more aware and then make even the smallest change will make a great difference.
Wowww! Just wowwU mek mi mouth a run wata ova ere so(Likkle girl y u Neva eat di fish head? Cho) lolThanks for taking us with u to little ochiOn a serious note thou am overly concern about da erosion summn deh.great job Beenie! Thank u!
My girl, thinking about the fish now and I'm salivating. (couldn't manage the head tho... lol) . Fun and joke aside, coastal erosion is really a serious thing. We really have to be more deliberate in our efforts to protect the environment.
I so need to come visit. And eat. Maybe fine myself a beautiful queen . That would be a dream come true. Only one thing! I need rice with my fish😂😂😂😂 please
Great vid! Almost stopped while u were eating that jerked fish! Heavenly! On a serious note though.. I was shocked at the abundance of parrotfish! I thought it was illegal to still catch them and for an established facility they really need to be more environmentally conscious! And people need to stop demanding.. So kudos to you!
Thanks hun. Yeah you are right, there is a ban on parrotfish in Jamaica, however, persons keep requesting it. I don't know, could it be that they really don't know the implications? I told the lady who helped me find my fish and she responded...'dat a whey dem [the government] seh. sigh
Alot of ppl dont know and for others it's willful ignorance. The education has to be on a very practical level so they can see the implications.. Like the eroding shoreline! Business as usual in Jamaica where there are laws etc but no enforcing or penalties.
If y'all don't flies to come around wen yu eating fish or any eating out side. have piece of ackee tree around.... For some reason flies don't like ackee tree. lovin your vlog straight .....Cheers
Love ur video but I'm such a big germaphobia..the girl scratch har head and use har bare hand teck up the fish.dat a di only thing mi nuh like dem nuh wear gloves.

Hey Fabian. I'm sorry you didn't have the same experience I did. The video reflects the service and ambience I experienced. In the video, I also made it clear that each visit revealed changes that happened at the location over time. What exactly happened during your trip?

You are not alone, it is happening all over the world. I have been trying to bring awareness to people in coastal areas about sea level rise.
Sigh, so sad. I really want to do more

You are right, having laws mean nothing if they aren't enforced.
