- After listening to the soundtrack many a time, there was one melody that kept getting stuck in my head. I've called it Hiccup's theme here because it often appears when the story is mainly centering on him and his actions alone, and put together a little suite of when this theme appears in the first movie.
I do not own any of the rights to the music or images in this film. All rights go to their respective owners.

You should look at valkas theme and stoics theme. They harmonize perfectly. 👌
Thanks for the idea!
By Stoic's theme, do you mean Stoic's ship?
you mean they harmonise BETTER than this masterpiece of childhood
100th like retrospectively speaking this is honestly the best trilogy along with there other media properties such as dragons edge what a time to be in thanks for this banger
i love this
the length of the video could not be found.
I love it :) This is Celtic/Orchestra music mixed together, right? :^
Probably Nordic since the celts are British
@@mr.tomatohead3709 the village in how to train your dragon is based on Scotland.
@@jbeckwith4097They’re Vikings. They’re nords in every way. They write in runes and the ending song is in Icelandic. The closest language to old Norse we have today. The locations may be inspired by Scotland, but the people are Norse
@@trichi827 We're talking about the music, not the fictional culture of these made-up people.
@@jbeckwith4097 The music obviously takes note from Scandinavian orchestar. There's a single celtic thing in these songs and thats the blow pipes. The overall theme is Scandinavian. Some music sounds like it's from Skyrim lol
This movie and it's music are masterpieces.
Why does this have only 1k views
Srbija?
2:58 I hear a bit of Mulan and at the beginning
Napokon i muzika iz mog omiljenog crtanog filma

this is nice, but I don't think this is Hiccup's theme
It's a version of it I think.
@@aubiek3208 There are several themes in this suite. The main one being the melody from 'See You Tomorrow'. This is not Hiccup's theme. Hiccup's theme is the very first theme we hear in 'This is Berk' followed by the Viking's theme and the second part of Hiccup's theme. Many consider this to be part of the flying theme, which is really just Hiccup's theme and Toothless' theme played together. Hiccup's theme appears in most of the pieces in one form or another one of them being 'Ready the Ships' at 0:35. The other theme in this suite is the theme for the teenagers. It plays most clearly in 'Battling the Green Death' at 1:37, when the teenagers fly in on their dragons.

@@vewok oh gosh, I just watched Sideways's video on the movie, if you've ever watched that, and when listening to this I just couldn't tell the difference because I was enjoying it so much!😂But yes, Hiccup's is the opening theme, thanks for the clarification.💚
@@vewok I just clicked on the links! I watched the video by Sideways before I actually listened to this, and that was minutes before.😳
@@vewok Thanks for the video links! 0:35 is from 'New Tail,' my basis for the rest of this video, and 1:37 is from 'Ready the Ships' if anyone else wants to find those too :)
