Just bought several spools of the Suffix 131 can not wait!!!!! To try this braid on my flipping technique! Lacing it up on the NEW Diawa Zillion 8.1 with the incredible Megabass P5 X-Bites!!! Sensitivity for DAY$$$$!!
Power pro for heavy vegetation, 131 / Superslick v2 / jbraid grand or x8 for open water, 832 as the best combo for all around. I think the 13 strands is excellent for open water but the small strands fray more easily. I would not use 131 for straight braid applications
That 131 casts like a dream. Love that stuff but boy will it burn a hole in your pocket. Have you tried sufix nanobraid for spinning? It's like casting silk.
You can use a fluorocarbon leader for any of these techniques, but when finesse fishing in particular you want your presentation to be as natural as possible. Fluorocarbon is nearly invisible in the water and will get you a few more bites throughout the day.

Sounds like a great setup!

Well said!
Long term Power Pro user here. Threw it all out and now running 131. Will never use Power Pro again.

131 is a favorite of ours!
I have some 832 that is 5 years old and in service after several big jacks
What rod was that with the 832 on it? That handle looks about perfect.

Just curious why the finesse fishing gets a flouro leader? Because it sinks and gets down more?

Is Feider using the 131 for his braid to fluoro flipping setup or is he still using 832?
He uses the 131 now!
@@bassutopia good move! Can't wait to try it myself
@@bassutopia Does anyone how Feider spools his braid to fluro liter reel- does he use backing or just braid directly to naked spool?
What sun glass u use ?
Those are Bajio's. Our entire shop loves them! It's the same crew that started Costa. You can check them out here -> www.omniafishing.com/b/bajio
I heard suffix nanobraid is next gen for spinning tackle, have you tried that yet?
What is your take on daiwa jbrandx8 grand?
Another smooth 8 carrier braid!
What reel was that daiwa spinning
That's one of Pete's Tatula LT's!
Surprised V2 super slick wasn’t in this.
Super Slick is a great line as well. With it being an eight carrier braid, it's pretty comparable to Sufix 832
I learned something today.
Pete is the man. He knows a ton!
DAIWA TOURNAMENT 8 braid EVO what ELSE???
Wary*
131 too expensive.................double the price of 832 n PP.................skip....no buyyyyyyy
