প্রতিবেদনটা দেখে চোখে জল এসে গেল, আমার ছোটবেলায় কৃশানু বিকাশের খেলা দেখার জন্য স্কুল থেকে ছুটে বাড়িতে আসতাম, আমাদের সময় এর আইকন, এত মহান প্লেয়ার এর আর্থিক পরিস্থিতি এবং সম্মান কোনটাই বিশেষভাবে কেউ দিতে পারল না, অত্যন্ত বেদনার😢
সেই সময় টিভি ছিলো না ,যা কিছু ফুটবল লীগ রেডিও মাধ্যমে শোনা। আমি মোহনবাগানের সমর্থক ছিলাম। ইস্টবেঙ্গলের সঙ্গে খেলা হলেই আমার ভয় হত বিকাশ পাঁজি ও কৃষাণু দে' র পায়ে বল পড়লে। এই দুজনের জুড়ি ছিলো অসাধারণ, দুর্দান্ত একজন প্লেয়ার। ভাবিই নি এইভাবে অকালে একজন ভারতীয় ফুটবল নক্ষত্র ঝরে যাবে। পরিচয় হয়তো ছিলো না কিন্তু রেডিও তরঙ্গে অজয় বসু ,পুষ্পেন সরকার ,সুকুমার সমাজপতি এনাদের কন্ঠে কৃষাণু দে নামটি শুনে শুনে আজও আমার বুকে গাঁথা রয়ে গেছে ।

However I also remember that Federation Cup match in 85 when Jamshed Nasiri scored in extra time to lift the trophy beating Mohan Bagan.

১৯৮৫ সালে ইস্টবেঙ্গলে আসার পরে , আমাদের দল কাপ উইনার্স কাপ খেলতে গেল শ্রীলঙ্কার কলম্বোতে , আমরা রন্টুদার জন্য ই চাম্পিয়ান হয়ে ছিলাম । বিকাশ দা তোমার মনে আছে , সেবার আবাহনীর বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের খেলা ছিল , সেই থার্ডম্যান মুভ থেকে তুমি গোল করেছিলে , সেই পাশটা রন্টু দাই দিয়েছিল ।

I have seen him playing when I was in my teens. Can't forget him along with chima and bikash paji in my lifetime. He should be regarded as the finest footballer of 1980s to 90s in Indian football. Very sad to hear about the deprivation from his son. He should be given posthumous award by Indian government for his lifetime contribution to Indian football.

There was no comparison between the two teams. But in the post-match press conference, manager Boby Robson only mentioned Krishanu Dey and praised of his football skills and commented that he is at par with the European players.

Yes I remember. It was I guess 1991. I think it was named Super Soccer'91. Only 2 matches were played. Siddharth Basu was the commentator. 1st match India lost 0-6 and 2nd match India lost 1-7. I remember their manager advising that India should play more matches with other countries or clubs.

Kolkata was third in line; Someone from press introduced Subroto Bhattacharya as Indian Roger Milla. Eric Gerets was the PSV captain and they had 7-8 world cupper (from Italia90) including Hans Van Brukelin; score was 4-0 with 2 more goals disallowed due to off side, there was one moment of brilliance from Krishanu, dodging 3 PSV defenders... That was the highlight... I tried searching for DD clips of that match without success

আমি তখন খুব ছোটো, বাবা পুরো পরিবার সমেত খেলা দেখতে নিয়ে গেছিল যুব ভারতী ক্রীড়াঙ্গনে। মনে হয় জার্মানির কোন টিমের সাথে ভারত একাদশ। দুই শূন্য না দুই এক গোলে ভারত হেরেছিল। আমি তখন মাত্র ৬ বছর। এখন ৩৫, কিন্তু আজও মনে আছে ঝাঁকরা চুলের একজন ভারতীয় খেলোয়াড় left wing দিয়ে panetrate করছিল মুহূরমুহূ। মা পাশ থেকে আমাকে বলেছিল, "দেখ দেখ কৃসানূ দে দৌড়াতেছে।" এখনও মনে আছে সেই স্বপ্নের দৌড়। এখনও গায়ে কাঁটা দিয়ে ওঠে সেই দৌড়ের কথা ভাবলে। খুব ভাগ্যবান মনে হয় জীবনে একবার ওনার খেলা দেখতে পাবার জন্য। খুব আক্ষেপ হয় আর কোনো বাঙালি উঠে এলো না এই মানের। আমার মতে উনি দেশের সর্ব কালের সেরা খেলোয়াড়।

I'm forever Mohunbagan fan but when it comes to Krishanu I bow down my head to this great player. I was just a kid when Krishanu Dey was pick of his career. Couldn't able to see many matches of him. I majorly watched playing Krishanu from 89 on wards. Krishanu and Bikash Panji were match in heaven. Krishanu, Bikash and Sudip created magic in Indian football arenas. Till date I have never seen such a skillful Indian footballer in my life.

রন্টূদাদার সাথে খুব ভালো সখ্যতা ছিলো , প্রায় প্রতিদিন রাতে দাদা অফিস থেকে ফেরার পরে আমি দাদাকে নাকতলার বাড়িতে আমার বাড়ির ফোন থেকে দাদাকে ফোন করতাম । অনেক গল্প করতাম ,কখনো বিরক্ত হতেন না । আমাকে অনেকবার টিকিট দিয়েছিলো ।

আমি তখন খুব ছোটো, বাবা পুরো পরিবার সমেত খেলা দেখতে নিয়ে গেছিল যুব ভারতী ক্রীড়াঙ্গনে। মনে হয় জার্মানির কোন টিমের সাথে ভারত একাদশ। দুই শূন্য না দুই এক গোলে ভারত হেরেছিল। আমি তখন মাত্র ৬ বছর। এখন ৩৫, কিন্তু আজও মনে আছে ঝাঁকরা চুলের একজন ভারতীয় খেলোয়াড় left wing দিয়ে panetrate করছিল মুহূরমুহূ। মা পাশ থেকে আমাকে বলেছিল, "দেখ দেখ কৃসানূ দে দৌড়াতেছে।" এখনও মনে আছে সেই স্বপ্নের দৌড়। এখনও গায়ে কাঁটা দিয়ে ওঠে সেই দৌড়ের কথা ভাবলে। খুব ভাগ্যবান মনে হয় জীবনে একবার ওনার খেলা দেখতে পাবার জন্য।
খুব আক্ষেপ হয় আর কোনো বাঙালি উঠে এলো না এই মানের। আমার মতে উনি দেশের সর্ব কালের সেরা খেলোয়াড়।
কৃশানু দে নাম টা শুনলে মনে হয়,ওঃ কি খেলোয়াড় ছিল। আমি মোহনবাগানের সমর্থক। কিন্তু যে বছর তিনি মোহনবাগানে এল কী আনন্দ হয়েছিল।আর যেদিন খারাপ খবর টা শুনেছিলাম ,কী দুঃখ যে পেয়ে ছিলাম তাই বলা যায় না।বল শিল্পী অমর রহে।

I'm forever Mohunbagan fan but when it comes to Krishanu I bow down my head to this great player. I was just a kid when Krishanu Dey was pick of his career. Couldn't able to see many matches of him. I majorly watched playing Krishanu from 89 on wards. Krishanu and Bikash Panji were match in heaven. Krishanu, Bikash and Sudip created magic in Indian football arenas. Till date I have never seen such a skillful Indian footballer in my life.
