Lakshadweep in India is just like Maldives just above Maldives and very cheap 🎉🎉

Don't be a parrot that repeats everything your politicians tell you. There is no tourism in Lakshadweep. Only thing really available is cruise ships(you live in ship, not island)and few basic resorts - which is not available for booking. You need an entry permit to go to Lakshadweep and a police clearance even if you are Indian. The area is also dry, bringing alcohol is a crime. You can't compare this to Maldives which is expensive because it has only super luxury resorts, one person Island. Geographically, Lakshdweep is beautiful but not available for tourism in reality.
