I appreciate the clarity of the distinction. This would cover a dip (whether you're on it or in it), but what about a real recession? Wouldn't a good company perhaps quit growing during a recession? How does one tell a weed at that point? Compare with competitors and see which ones are the best? (although that might only tell you which ones do best in a recession)
