Flemming, thanks for all your hard work. Question for you...in one of the techniques you have your elbow up but then take the other hand and pass over the top and bottom of your elbow. What is that about?
Thanks for your interest. I’m not sure exactly what you are referring to. I will check and the get back to you. If you want, you are welcome to expand on your question or write the timestamp to me. Salute
I think you are talking about the shape I make with my hands as I say Salute. It serves two purposes. 1 - It’s a greeting Like a fist bump, a high five or a bow in traditional martial arts. 2 - It’s a Block. Block #26 called Stepladder. It's a Block I haven't covered on the channel yet, but I will, when I get to it. Salute
@@FlemmingFromDenmark ...hello Flemming, I found the move in your video "Blocks #11--short punches." You do the move at the beginning of the video. You hold up your elbow then wave your hand above and below your elbow. Can you explain the reason? Thanks
@@marteld2108 Yes, It’s a greeting we use in 52 Blocks, lik a High Five, a Fist bump or a Bow in traditional Martial Arts. But it's also a Bolck in the system. It's called Stepladder and it's Block # 26. I haven't cover Blocks that high in the system yet, but in essence it’s Block # 1 - Skull and CrossBones, which defends straight punchec. If you do skull and CrossBones slowly, with bad timing or without footwork, then some feel like you are leaving your body open. Stepladder address this by moving the top hand under the elbow to cover the body. I will cover the Block on my channel in due time. Salute
Awesome knowledge being given here
