Thanks for posting another awesome POV, I hope they make a 4 hr battery so we can watch your entire race. Your riding was incredible, podium finish for sure this year, Good Luck!
The fact i just watched this video till it ended & thought "that was damn fast!! Has to be top 10 easily, prolly top 5" then read your description of the video to learn you lost rear brakes boggles my mind!!! I never would've thought that was anything other than a nearly mistake free run & reminds me exactly why you get paid to do that & I'm behind a keyboard complimenting you on a IMPRESSIVE ride!!! Amazing job Jonny.. Good luck, be safe & HAVE FUN!!! Rootin 4 ya from Missouri!!!
So great Jonny. You ride really smooth. Hope theres no arm pump for you this time. Have a good head space and you’ll be on the podium for sure. We believe in you. NZ FAN. come have a play in our neck of the woods when your free. Some great hard enduro forest rides down here.
Great content JW. Keep up the pressure on them orange bikes. Can we have a vid on your fitness regime. I saw the clip with your hand grip. Impressive stuff.
Is this a qualifier !, doesn't seem the best idea just a flat out blast I would have thought that just a couple decent hill climbs would be better to sort out placeings, nice fast ride Jonny good luck 👍😜
I can't believe how fast it is. It's like he knows every part of the track and is going full throttle - but he doesn't know the track in that detail, it's just extreme competence hiding in plain sight.
Sounding like you were maxed out on the limiter/gearing at times, the prologue seems to require a different style of riding to the rest of the weekend🤔🏴🇬🇧
Do riders enjoy this kind of prologue? Just holding it pinned on a dirt road doesn’t seem like the best prologue for a hard enduro. Throw a few logs in there at least!
Seems like this puts to wrong type of riders on the first row. Toby price could probably get on the first row, but wouldn't be competitive in the actual race.
I really dont understand the sprint prologue for a hard enduro race. great ride, especially with your brake issues, but not what I assume most of the fans are here to see
Erzberg has to have the worst prologue of all races, doesn’t have any obstacles that are in the race. Just have to be able to hold it pinned on flat gravel 🤷♂️ Good luck mate hope you do well this year
It's sad that this extraordinary awesome competition is so poorly organized.. Every single year I hope to see real improvements, and I am disappointed. THE START: you want to start the main race in 10 lines of 50 competitors, but it's difficult for you to have, for example, a RED-GRENN-LIGHT START, so there's equality for everyone, without tricks and cheaters (just analise this year's disastrous start). THE TRACK: At least until the 10th Checkpoint you should provide more routes/ larger area, to avoid blockages and the impossibility of continuing the race for those who do not start in the first line but have the skills to go further (you have 500 riders, after all, you cannot send them home after CP3). And as many say, "What is the purpose of having a qualifying race in the 6th gear, at a hard-enduro competition? Having in front of the pack motocross riders that cannot ride hard-enduro?" It's a guaranteed recipe for traffic-jams! LIVE STREAM : when you have 500 riders and for 90% of the time you are focusing on top3 (max top5), you are not doing your job well (Not enough live-cams ontrack, or somebody is sleeping in transmission center?). And in 2024 I don't think it's an impossible task to have on-screen provisional ranking with intermediate times in an accurate and professional way, not amateur , as at past and present. As a conclusion, I wonder when the FIM will intervene in this awesome championship and impose some common rules for all races (start rules, checkpoint rules, gps/tracking rules, etc.) @RedBull, wanna help us, please?

Beast!
You look nice and smooth and fast.
The bike sounds healthy. And sound perfectly turned.
Good luck for the rest of the erzberg.
Nice run with good flow.... I think using the berms like you did is faster than flat tracking . Did it work out that way?
That crisp BETA sound... 😍
wonderful .. 1st line .. speed
going fast there jonny lad!!
Main race video when?!?!?!

Gwan Jonny! ✊✊
Gan on Jonny lad 💪🏻💪🏻
That was fast 😊
Well done holding on to bike johnie my eyes were going cross eyed hi em s how ar you lassie 😮❤
Fair play Jonny, that was a canny pace. It would be great to see some telemetry on the screen of fast stuff like this!
Are you allowed to change anything on the bike setup wise from prologue day to race day like gearing or suspension? Just curious
Great run with some split second last minute feck it go over it moments
Bonkers fast. Good luck Jonny it would be great to see you and the beta win!! 🥇 💪🏻

@@lawrencegreenwood4002 yes you’d think he’s ridden that a 100 times
Taking all that information in of what coming up at that speed is nuts
Fast 😮😮
It has that "running late for work" feel about it. Dont worry about the brake, everyone knows these are for 🐱
🏍️💨🔥
@jonnywalker quali rapporti è carburazione per queste velocità senza grippare?
Der Abgasstrang ist frei.😁
Homie just used a pile of rocks for traction 😮😮 gnarly
5:20 didn’t see the stone, apparently it flew out from under the wheel

@@Greg_383Agreed. But maybe it facilitates less injuries and bike damage prior to the actual race?
It’s Erzberg… Karl said today if you want to are the front you’ll need to suffer.
Send it jw
So sketchy at this speed! I hope you can see the track better than I can on the gopro!
Jonny Walker for the Erzberg Rodeo 2024 champion!! 🏁
Chuck in a new top end and get'em tomorrow Jonny. Good luck.
Bros one with the bike like how the blue people in the move Avatar connect their hair to their animals

Beta singing well Jonny 👍
Nice ride...looks like you could drop a couple teeth on the rear sprocket for much of that course.
That should put you on the front row. And thanks for calling "it" Karl's Diner and not Karl's dinner.

I already washed out and smashed my head on the ground on the first corner.

Wow, so faaaast
Boring track, 90% highway and 10% fun. Nice driving :-)
Simo Kirssi würde die hier alle in Grund und Boden fahren.
i miss the tingling sensation your body has after a long ride on a dirtbike.
This prologue isn’t interesting for a extrem respect to Jonny he is fast

I've posted this comm on a few videos about Erzberg, in hope some of the organisers will eventually read it..
