Demo of some of the acoustic and electric piano presets in the Korg M3 synthesizer workstation. NOTE: The lights on the M3 do not blink, they only appear to do so in the video.
@auggiedoggy Yes, factory presets. I do not own any digital pianos, but I have played the high-end Yamaha ones and think they're very good. Instruments like the M3 are more flexible and have a wider variety of sound than digital pianos. In terms of amplification, for home use your best bet would be powered studio monitors. Keyboard amps are meant for use with bands, and are often disappointing sound-wise.
@keybdwizrd Good point. I've played this instrument for dozens of hours at the store, and I think what the M3 brings is immense creative capabilities with the combis and KARMA. It doesn't hurt that it has probably the best soundset of the workstations on the market (excluding the OASYS). Anybody who gets this as their first keyboard is one lucky bugger :D
@ekalb2185 With the M3, you can sample and store anything you want, have it triggered by any portion of the keyboard, and create and store your own custom patches.
I really love the KORG M3! But can this m3 help me in worship service and in my little home set up??? can it be my MAIN TOOL to create music??? Any suggestions!!! my budget is $2000USD.......................GOOD VID BRO REALLY ENLIGHTENING ME!!!!!
Great sounds there! Now do you like software synths over physical ones? I use software ones with my two pianos and love them. Just wanted to get your take on it.
Could you please help me decide on a rompler board for gigging , sound quality is my main concern,.. M3Rack, triton le, roland juno di, yamaha mox, roland xp30 , Dexibell ???
bro have u made a choice whats your price range...i own a m3...it is amazing but not for gigging..this thing is for producers you ask me..motif or nord for gigging
Nothing ever really changes. As brilliant as these patches are, it's all been done before...
These pianos sound absolutely beautiful. I really want a Korg M3
*drools*

@keybdwizrd Does 1344 sound about right , i think that's how many they said were preloaded and I think over 1600 user presets.
does the sounds directly comes out from the monitors or just recorded from the pc?
Are these sounds original presets? and how many sounds are available total including every sound?

Have not picked one up yet.
I lean toward Motif ES my price range around 1000 , preferably less !
I like Nords but they re high.. :)
does the m3 have good sounding acoustic guitars?...
the synth is good...however is very ugly and those blinking lights are so annoying and distracting during play, imho.
