Have you checked if the touch screen connector on the motherboard is OK? or even the ic touch of the motherboard ... since if you have tried several parts of screens, from several suppliers and all work in the same way ... it would be necessary to review the above indicated. Let me know if it works.

Don't ever trust a device then got water inside because it may keep on working but it could also die anytime because there may some oxidation take place anywhere inside the phone. You may be lucky if you exchange the display but it could also have affected the connector of the display or the main board. After water damage a phone should be immediately shut down, disassembled and dried, maybe cleaned with alcohol. Sometimes you can't reach every part because some are below some metal shields.

This isn’t the proper way. You should first test the screen before taking off the plastics, THEN if the screen is good, you take off the plastics and then you glue.
