Considering india's diverse population and complex and social dynamics a representative democracy can be beneficial in providing stability and efficient decision- making.
From my perspective representative democracy is correct for countries like India because it has such a huge population but the representatives shouldn't done there duties well . This needs to be improved
In my opinion representative democracy is not perfect but it's best , especially for a country like India having 140 cr population full of diversity. The main problem is with the representatives . Laws and their execution is needed to strengthen in order to make these representatives work efficiently..Factors like compitition (in a holistic way) plays a crucial role in forming government . •There should be a basic criteria for being a representatives Though it is violation of regulations
Representative Democracy is a essential element in a densly populated country like India. It will not be practically possible to make each and every individual of the nation to vote for every single bill that to be implemented in India. It will be time consuming as well as a costly process. There is no better option other than representative democracy to run India. But the main problem is that the representatives are not performing their duties well. They just continuously criticize each other on a political agenda. Restrict the proceedings of the parliament by making a choas. The consequence for this is :- • The number of sitting days in the parliament is declining. • Fewer number of bills passed • Less time spent on discussion of bills. In my opinion, the system should not be changed , but the people in system should become more sincere and must respect that position that they are representing.
According to me I don't know any other way than representative democracy so I will my points according to it.. Population size, Diversity, accountability are the some main reasons why India should stay representative democracy.
I think representative democracy is correct . But the problem is that our representatives have so much power . Like they have ended the winter session with no conclusion, they are not understanding the importance of a session which is crutial for nation. Therefore there must be laws made for the discipline and proper discussion on bills in sessions . Spoil the session is not the solution.
Sir I think that different aspects and factors of a country determine the type of governance system it best suits. As well as it may vary from country to country. In case of India till now, REPRESANTATIVE DEMOCRACY is the most appropriate method of governance as India has a huge population and the difference of vies among them, which is a good as well as inevitable consequence. So for people to have their interests and needs voiced up in the representative body, i.e., parliament, it is the only way out among the options we have till date. Democracy is rule of people, by the people, for the people, as said by Abraham Lincoln. REPRESANTATIVE DEMOCRACY allows the people to rule, although indirectly and technically its not even possible to discuss and let each one of the population directly put forward his/her point of view. Yeah, I agree that we should be welcoming nice and productive changes and not just stick to one single view for the form of government. That's why there might be some more deep thoughts about the governance system we might opt for. Jitika Sharma Thank you!
According to me if we remove power of representation , than we cannot called india as a democratic country.. We can further see as population rise , it' very imp. To have power of representation in government,, If there is no representatives in gov.t then country have president rule and then no one have power to say and go oppose..,so for improvement of country we need someone who represented people needs.. While other hand it is very important to choose correct representative, because now days , there is rule of power.. people choose government to have power. So it's on common people to see an elect representative who have qualities which will further improve their own state condition.. and could understand wright or wrong.. ....... harshita jain.....
Representative democracy is correct but Representative waste time during sessions in arguments and clashes so need is to change Representative not system
