I just want to tell you that thanks to this video I had the most amazing hairstyle at my prom back in 2014. I had the help of my hairdresser because I'm very clumsy but most of the work was done using this video.

I just tried doing this hair style with my short, shoulder length hair, but I left out the "top" ponytail and it worked out beautifully! I also have overgrown, straight across bangs and I was able to twist them in with the rest of my hair. Thank you for posting this!

have you tried a clipless curling iron? they work so much better. my hair is shorter and thicker than yours, but it holds curl really well from a clipless. when I curl my hair with a clipped iron the curls fall right out.

This style is deceptively difficult (speaking as one who's managed to do most of your style, Siobhan!) I had to have a friend hold my twists for me because they kept slipping loose when I took my clips out. My final result is a lot messier than yours but still beautiful. Thanks very much!
