Midbeast such a nice fellow he waited more than 2 minutes before telling us he beat Dopa. Truly an achievement of a lifetime, but he still remains yet so humble.
4:00 definitely agree with this. Smite actually has it that you have to have at least lvl 2 mastery on a character to play them in ranked. You have to have I think 20 of them with at least lvl 2 in order to even play ranked to begin with, as opposed to League's version of just own the champions (which they give you tons of BE and whatnot plus the shards that you can obtain those champs easily). I think this would make the environment a bit more competitively stable with the champion picks.
Yup. One of the easiest champs in a while to get ahead on early. Hardest part about his early game is people saying "oh noooo smolder is so weak ff15". Sub 50% win rate
Easy way to spot the good Ashe supports from the bad ones. The good ones take Hail of Blades and use it to push you away from the minions, whereas the bad ones take Comet and sit at max range poking you occasionally with Volley.
Red side has a high win-rate in high elo because the "better" team gets Red side. The red side of the map has almost always been worse, Riot intentionally puts the higher MMR of the two teams on Red side. At most ranks that probably doesn't make much difference because the MMRs are similar, but the higher you go the larger that gap is going to be because of the smaller player pool.
I hope they eventually do a Nasus update where his Q or kit gets more benefits than just damage. Seeing the changes to Veigar and then this champ shows that it's possible. Would be really neat to see what they could do with him.
Depending on how it would work I think michaels would be a nice real life item. Imagine working as a doctor and you can just cure someone who has been blinded or handicapped
Guma played Cho'gath adc in LCK,this feel like something he would totally use in pro game. Also imagine random kid comes home to have some fun enters normal and ends up against Guma on new champs "sorry kid,new Riot 5 normal games rule",super fun for everyone involved.
no restrictions, but they have seperate MMRS for norms and ranked so there is still a sembalance of balance, it just takes the avg mmr of the party (norms) i think solo/duo rank may have some bearing on norms mmr but im not too sure since riot doestn release mmr algorithm@@Flexy59 edit: althought due to the avg mmr between bronze and chall may lead to an unfun experience for both parties since the challenger will stomp some diamond and the bronze would also get stomped by some diamond
I think having 5 quickplay/draftplay games on a champ before being allowed to pick it in ranked would be pretty cool. Heck i'd even up the ante to mastery level 4 at the very minimum. Would also bring down the smurfing a bit.
5 draft games sounds good as you just want the basic understanding of the character, but mastery 4 I feel is way too much, I’m a player who’s more of a counter picker to enemy comp rather than a one trick so having mastery 4 on like 10 different champs would be way too annoying to get in a draft pick rather than just 5 games
@@nasher99 most people who've played the game manage that easily, obviously u can change the 20 champ rule, it's not like mastery 4 takes forever. most people only play like 2-3 champs in ranked anyway, except for those exact players i'm trying to target. maybe people would take ranked more serious and like i said, less smurfing. i'd even put a notifier for the rest of the team when somebody is locking in a champ where has less than 30% winrate lmao.
@@StoneDeceiver Gnar and Urgot are the only AD champs that fight at range that are not ADCs, and all the other ability based AD champs are melee. I can imagine a tech based AD mage but we dont have anything like that in game.
Riot August said that temporarily blocking Ranked to new champions won't work because a big portion the of LoL playerbase ONLY play SoloQ. They're going to first time in Ranked after the champion is available. TFT tried something similar in the earlier sets and people complained they were gatekeeping features so they stopped. But then, locking a champion by making their players win 5 Draft Normals (nor quickplay nor ARAMs should count imo) sounds decent enough.
I love this champion it’s so fun as an adc ! And he actually shoots fire so that’s very dragon to me, people just hate it bc he looks like Spyro but I love it
Issue with the 5 game restriction is then everyone will be over saturating the normal queues prolly be miserable with the queue times and dodges, since everyone is vying for one champ
There's also quickplay, which has no bans or dodges. Sure game quality is all over the place, but if you need to get some practice in on a champ, it's a nice way to do it without having to grind other people's gears.
A perfect game by guma, doesnt die, is perma farming, is getting kills when they appear, is ahead, has an insane number os stacks, and still doesnt feel like the champ has 1/3 of the carry potential a lot of other champs have.
i played with a Smolder player on my team that went arcane comet and had the following build: Eclipse-Shojin-Grudge and Ravenous hydra and he carried with 21/5 so i was lucky no one dodged
Best item for irl use gotta be nerc treads. Not only are you faster. But you won’t be stunlocked when put in a chokehold/ get slammed when wrestling/ufc fighter.
Reason why red side has the higher winrate is because red side is the team expected to win upon loading into champ select. Its why you gain less/lose more lp when you play redside
@midbeast I believe the red side win difference is red side getting counter pick and also being able to pick 2 op tier champs in first part of champ select to blue sides one. That's all I can think of from when I was playing gm+ tournaments
What ive learned so far is not to take him bot with anyone passive, healers thst sit back, he needs someone to take the attention off of him, if they can ignore the support its rough and u just gotta cs and do nothing. Also use your ult mid fight to make use of the heal you get from it

Assuming the average LoL game is 30 minutes, 5 minute cooldown on that GA means that it's up 1/6th of your life. The human age expectency in most countries is around 75 to 80, that would mean the real life GA cooldown would be about 12 years. Now, Zhonya's might be better.
