- This is the final part of my transmission journey day 3 and 4. I am not a professional mistakes were made but thats why i recorded so you wont do my mistakes. hope you enjoy.

Thank you sincerely for your informative videos. Recently completed the same work clocked up 1200 miles no problems apart from a small oil leak from the tell tale port for the main shaft oil seal 😩.
hopefully its a small leak 😖
@@arkeyfix786 leaking rate 500mls for 700miles travel so fitted oil catch pot for now.

I like to know do the whole gearbox use one oil or gearbox is separated in to 2 meanig it use 2 different oil?
Cause i see it can be 2 piece like we have the mechatronic side where we usually change transmission oil and inside and out oil filter and the other part where we don't normally open.
If I'm not making any sense my question is do the whole gearbox use one type of oil and i only put it via mechatronic side and it fill the complete gearbox ?
Alright i just got the answer from the first video.....
Yes we have 2 different oil in 1 gearbox 1 on the DSG side and other 1 on the Center differential side.

i just didn't change the levers of the mechatronic seals. no i didnt see ehy :O?
Hello nice video! I have a transmission that have some latency to shift from D to R and viceversa. in R the gearbox feels slipping and 1st gear engage very hard with the latency, I have already checked the clutch and it's fine, also I used VCDS for scanning and no codes were found for gearbox malfunction. Next step that I am think is replacing mechatronics but since there is no code being reported then I am not sure whether this can be caused by the selectors. Do you have any advice?

@@arkeyfix786 thanks a lot, I think I will proceed replacing the mechatronics kit. I already change the oil (motul) and both filters external and internal but the issue persist. I have seen a lot of people taking out the clutch with the burned friction pads but mine is not burned like this, still I am able to see the orange/yellow color on them.
Thanks for these vids. I do keep referring to them as I work through the same job on mine! The super tight side shaft bolt? I'm really struggling with mine. It IS a normally threaded bolt, I take it?
of what i remember it is, I struggled with it too. I had to add leverage to make it snap loose and 2 people to hold the transmission since i didnt have a mount

Hi I have audi a7 2012 3.0tdi.I have the same error, is it the same procedure as here? do you have to take the entire gearbox out?
If you have the diesel 3.0 you probably have the ZF 8 speed transmission which is different. I wouldn’t know if it has the same sensors as 0b5 Tranmission but in you case I would just buy a used Tranmission and program it like I did eventually.
Hi .. I have Audi 7 2013.. transmission working absolutely fine just I’m getting error Gear is overheating change driving style .. and fault code is P1765 hydraulic sensor 2 adaptation limit reached .. pls advise what could be the actual problem??
the hydraulic sensors are in the mechatronics ill i can advice is to change the dsg oil and make sure its full with audi fluid

Hi my friend basically it’s either your transmission computer, mechatronics or your g676 sensor . Since there is no specifics I would just replace the transmission . It would be very hard to pin point the problem.

I have codes P285000 - shift fork unrequested movement.
code P187F00 Gear Actuator position deviation
code 01315 Transmission control module
do you happen to know if it is the same repair as you have carried out?
Have you checked your electrical connector going to the transmission this codes seem common when there is a problem with the connection going to the transmission,check for corrosion.
@@arkeyfix786 yeah just checked it with no corrosion in sight. I live in Australia so may not be as prone to corrosion as much as colder countries.
@@arkeyfix786 I did call a transmission specialist and he said he was 95% sure it was the sensor at the back of the gearbox like the one you changed in the video
@@ryancartwright8647 The code that definitely pops out when the drive range sensor goes out (G676) is P179 if we are talking about the same transmission DL501, but you have a TCU code which throws me off you might want to clear codes then see if the same codes come back.

@@arkeyfix786 I have cleared the codes and they do come back. I wonder if the 01315 code is just coming up because of the fault in general
