This video taught me that I have to be willing to let people go and embrace the natural shift in relationships and not allowing the fear of lost to make me have an unhealthy attachment to others. The hardest relationships to me to let go are intimate relationships that no longer served me. Although I loved those individuals I had to let them go in order to embrace the next level in development and embrace my evolution.
Your reflection is both profound and courageous. Releasing relationships, especially intimate ones, is one of the hardest yet most empowering acts of self-respect and growth. By embracing change and honoring your evolution, you create space for authentic connections and a deeper alignment with your true self. Keep walking this path with grace-it's a testament to your strength and wisdom.
I think the problem with this is that humans are not very good at self evaluation. They often place these things they decide to forgive on others.Perhaps these things we want to fix / change are coming from within? Maybe we could forgive ourselves these misunderstandings and missteps and take a different direction?
You've touched on an essential point! The journey of growth begins within us, and Stoicism reminds us that forgiveness and acceptance are fundamental steps. Forgiving ourselves for our mistakes is an act of self-respect and a solid foundation for moving forward with clarity and purpose. Thank you so much for sharing such a profound reflection!
