I take it as saying if we are born-again, mature Christians that know scripture very well it will not be possible to decieve us. But false Christs, preachers and prophets will be sooo deceptive and sound sooo good that very many will believe them except the ones who are prepared and on alert.
Remember in I Peter it says
Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion
seeking whom he may devour.
Know your Bible thoroughly and put on the armor of God.

Thank you for sharing. Plse pray for me & my family & friends. A church I used to attend fell into apostasy (the lord lead me away from that church before the main pastor fell & the wolf in sheep’s clothing took over). The lord revealed to me that that pastor is a practicing wizard…he has now been promoted to “church planter” & is affiliated w the baptist conference (converge of Wis). I’ve been under attack by that man, & two others (male & female) practicing wc, black magik, soccery, divination, vampirism… plse pray for me & my grown children & those in my sphere of influence to be free of this assault on our lives (& the cities we live in).
Two of them originally had gifting from God which satan is using for himself (as they have an open door for the devil). It grieves me beyond measure knowing how this has been used against me, other believers … satan is “Not” any one’s friend … do not trust every spirit…but test it …
I pray God keep revealing more to you about this as a friend of mine stood up at her friends marriage. Her friend was married by this wolf in sheep’s clothing. My friend said their marriage is a marriage from hell. (A warlock married them:/ The lord didn’t reveal to me that he was a wizard until I moved to a completely different city (an angel said to me “GET THEE OUT”) so I packed up my two kids (10 & 12) & left.

I’m a new believer, 6 months now.
However I’ve studied the Bible for 50 years.
I also know that Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit to us and He would teach us all things pertaining to Him.
I don’t think it’s a matter of being an old believer or a young believer, I believe that the things of the Spirit are spiritually discerned.by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
How many years was the Apostle Paul a believer before God called him to ministry.?

But also remember that God’s word is always true. We should still get into the word and really know our word and use the holy spirit to decern the truth. Even when Jesus was rebuking satans temptations he quoted the word…

So true, about 30 years ago, I use to go to Church faithfully, Pray and even fast but someone who I really Loved offered me Marijuana and it was only the forth time that I smoked it, other times I would get very scary and sleepy, but this time I had an out of the body experience and went to hell, to a box- like space, I kept crying out to Yah for forgiveness and it seemed like forever, hopelessness and fear gripped my soul like never before, and then he let me come back into the body that I couldn't even feel when I left it at first. I have had a more intimate relationship with Yah ever since. Hell is real. A place of separation from Yah and loneliness for eternity. Thank You Jesus that I will never have to go back there again by the grace of Yah. HalleluYAH!
Hey there. So I don't use Marijuana but my christian husband does and was keeping it secret a long time. I've known about it for 5 years now... lately in 2023 I was feeling a strong urgency to warn him and warn him to get right with God and drop the weed. I felt the lord so strong the other night when my husband let me pray against the daaiction and generational curse of drug addiction, we'll, another family member on my side of the family totally random brought over a bag fu,l of medical Marijuana for my mom and dad who are believers but carnal! And was trying so hard to convince me to try it and give some to my husband!! I was beginning to wonder wellman maybe it's OK because it's a planting god made plants. But that night jesus gave me clarity and it's all a trap from Satan to keep my husband in bandage. He needs prayer itsso sad where this " healthy" drug has led him.
I have dreams of both the devil comes whenever I'm abstaining from sin once when I gave up smoking, and I've never smoked since 🎉🎉 and since I've been celibate which is now 2 years 🎉🎉 both I love to celebrate and waiting for a partner that God approves of.

I believe that there is a way to not fall into the great deception as the Lord has communicated with me in dreams since I was 11 years old. I'm now 58. And what stands out is the constant development of our character God’s call to character: The emphasis that godly character is more important than spiritual giftedness, and that revelatory-gifted people need to develop the fruit of the Spirit and humility to hear God’s voice better. I believe that this is the principle that will protect us from falling away or into the great deception. Blessings my brother 🙏

How important it is to read, understand and interpret the Bible for yourself because even when you choose to join a specific religion, if you just accept whatever they tell you, you’re accepting an individual or group of individuals interpretation of the Bible and not your own interpretation through prayer and a personal relationship with God.

Thank you so much Alwyn! I’ve been in a severe panic attack for more than 24 hours with much weeping, praying, and fear. I watched a woman’s prophetic videos about the things to come for America and it left me so shaken and more afraid than I’ve ever been in my life. It was as if I had no true connection to JESUS and all he has said and done to deliver us. I thought maybe it was a true revelation and an intense fear of the LORD but it sent my heart racing and it did not calm down for more than a day. I watched a healing video through another ministry that I trust and was finally able to feel GOD’s love again and it got my heart back into rhythm. I’m still confused on wether she was accurate because she has a deep understanding of the Lord’s word, but she was talking about how America is coming under judgment and that we (Christians) will suffer GOD’s wrath for her sins. There wasn’t anything uplifting about her messages and I left them feeling utterly hopeless. I have a small child with autism, so the messages she was giving struck terror into my soul. I am seeking spiritual discernment incessantly now, and long to be at peace again. Please pray for GOD to help us with this and give us strength to withstand! ✝️🙏💕

If someone gives a word and it produces fear that you just described, it is definitely not from God because perfect love casts out fear. Fear has to do with punishment. Those who are Christ's have NO reason to fear. The fear of the Lord leads us to trust in our perfect Father, not to be afraid of what He's going to do to us. Take that "word" and flush it.

I know the LORD does not give us a spirit of fear but of sound mind and usually these messages do not affect me. That’s why I said I felt like the LORD allowed it for a reason, perhaps to push me to be more diligent in spreading his word to unbelievers. I’ll keep praying on it and again thank you for your encouragement.

Thank you for the message Alwyn. Jesus said that If it was possible to deceive even the elect. However by the grace of God the elect cannot be deceived. Mathew 24:24 and Mark 13:22. Thank God that it is not possible for the elect to be deceived.
Who can firmly claim to be elect? Can you?
Look up the word “elect” in the dictionary
please go read that Scripture carefully in the AMP version...If possible is not a statement to say "It's not possible".... For example, I'm going to the grocery store at 16:45 and I know they close at 17:00 so I can get my milk and IF POSSIBLE, order a cappuccino too while im at it.
That doesn't mean it's IMPOSSIBLE, it simply seams it's possible but at very slim chance or difficult to do it! But there is still a possibility no matter how small it is...
If you don't believe me then please consider the scripture that speaks about there will be a Great Falling away of many in these last days...Falling away doesn't mean you were never God's Child, it means you allows the circumstances of life and it's pressures to get to u and you slipped and unfortunately some find it hard or never rise again! That is why In the Book of revelations is speaks about "those who remain until the end" many many times .. The Word of God never makes us feel comfortable and at easy about our salvation...The Word always makes be watchful and awake , alert, and fearful ( not in dread or demonic fear) that we too don't fall from our place of Surrender to the Lordship of Jesus...
Yes there is Righteousness,peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, but as we read we get a clear picture to Be always on the Look out and living a life being vigilant about how we walk with God so we don't get deceived or entangled In anything that can lead us astray...because it's not IMPOSSIBLE, if we are watchful and awake we will always see Gods Hand Guiding us through everything we encoounter...But if we Sleep, we can be deceived , only Gods mercy can help us then..
I totally agree with you if you have the Holy Spirit in you he will guide and lead you. I have a relationship with Jesus when I am in ministry the Hoky Spirit gives me the Scripture I need for the person I am praying with. PRAISE God Amen.

Very important message for all. I needed it. I’ve been having dreams from the Lord and then I have a dream immediately right after that I have one that I know is not from God. I wake up so upset. There is no peace from that type of dream.
Timely teaching, Alwyn! There are even pastors with large followings who have justified sexual sin and it is yet to be revealed to the body.

Yessss!!! Thank you!! I so appreciate hearing someone else saying this!! I have been saying this for years!! Eve is a perfect example. When she came face to face with the serpent and he questioned "Did God REALLY say...?" She got wrong what God actually said. God showed me this years ago and pointed out how vital it is to know exactly what He DID say (thru all of Scripture) so we won't be lured by someone's distorted quoting of Him. This is especially true since satan masquerades as an angel of light. He disguises his lies and traps within truth. It's like he tries to wrap it up in truth to conceal it. So it's only when we know the WHOLE truth, for ourselves by feeding ourselves and not relying just on Sunday sermons that someone else researched and put together, it's only when we feed ourselves that we are truly and adequately arming ourselves with truth against the enemy. He prowl around like a lion, seeking whom he may devour...lions, and other predators, watch for the weak ones, the sickly ones, the ones who are isolated. Feeding yourself with the truth of God's Word strengthens and heals you. That's not an easy target for the predator enemy.
And knowing the Lord intimately, knowing His voice and how He speaks to you...these are what also will help guard you from being ensnared.
