I was going to say the same thing. While I understand the need for more space for inventory, that area is also her studio. Taking away a source of happiness and inspiration would not be advisable.
It’s understandable with the business mindset to want to convert your gallery wall into storage, but remember it’s also your home and you have as an inspiration wall too! If anything I’d say make some more space within your inventory shelves (like you’ve already been working on!) as someone who loves organising I wish I had a job with a small business just so I could organise and help package things!
I hope you keep your gallery wall, this space isnt just for your business but also part of your home. You should be able to enjoy being in your work area especially when it isnt a hectic product launch/shop update.
It’s not a “waste wall” because it brings you joy and inspiration, but I do get trying to fit ALL the things in your studio. I need LOTS more storage and less tables, but the tables become pile-ables so… If you do consider a storage change with that wall consider a few options: - Get tall wood cupboards, particularly if they have framed doors. It should be real wood though, not the gluey cheap stuff from Ikea and whatnot, so you can paint it that pink if you like but also have a sturdy base to nail/screw your picture frames in a new layout on the doors. Thus giving you storage you can hide away and not losing your gallery wall entirely. - You could also build some sort of backboard to the back of the movable shelves or other shelving units on wheels. And maybe the sides. You can also paint the back of them if you choose. Then you can hang your gallery wall framed artworks on the backs of those. When in use the shelves containing products face outward or open up like a cupboard. When not in use, turn them around and there’s a movable gallery wall. I do this with my clothes drying rack. My studio was our living room and I hand-wash all of my latex free clothes. It has a curtain with nice artwork so when we have anyone over I can turn it around and hide the laundry. I’ve also used it to hang a blank backdrop for photographs. - Third option is to get heavy duty steel shelves on heavy duty wheels. Then hang blank curtains on the sides. Then you can hang artwork from the shelves or the curtains. And just pull back or roll up the curtains as needed. I do this with two Seville Classics NSF Stainless Steel shelves on wheels. They can hold up to 500 lbs on wheels, if needed. Mine are full of my products, but I also have artwork hanging from the ends. I’m still organizing and might hang some up from the back as one is kind of a room divider. I need a lot of empty floor space because I’m mostly in a wheelchair. I could always send ya pics via Instagram or something. The curtains I got are Deconovo from Amazon when they were on a MAJOR sale. They’re polyester, which I prefer cotton, but they are thick so they help with dust and also noise reduction. Plus it hides some of the “clutter” look of storage boxes and whatnot all over. - You could also get a wood screen to hang artwork on and fold it open to have an imitation gallery wall but also access to storage. I think this would be the second to least option, though (with the first being to remove entirely) because it would be finicky to move all the time and move around it. Plus with kitties who knows what could happen. Have you considered moving some of the dolls that don’t quite have a place yet as they’re on your warehouse/product shelves and those things to the main floor? You have blank walls in the entryway by the dining room and even a bit in the dining room. You could surround yourself with more of your favorite things upstairs and open a bit more storage space too.
I saw the shots around your neighborhood and thought “That’s very Château Diaries” and then I remembered I started watching that channel because of you!! Anyway, great video!
You gallery walls is a inspirational space for your work and without inspiration you can’t make new product to sell 😉 so it’s a very good use of space 😂❤
I have seen on TT that someone shreds up all the cardboard boxes they get for filler, in place of the crink. That might be an option for at least disposing of all the boxes, so they take less space before going to the recycling center?
I saw that too. I'm curious how heavy that makes the boxes they ship out. Shredded paper/boxes are not accordion folded like crinkle paper, so you need a lot of it to fill a box. Flat paper is not good void fill. Scrunching it will only do so much.
Love seeing your videos, and I bet most people would love to have had one of your cats sir in their box. Also, awesome Halloween decor love seeing what people shop for.
You could go and get samples of epoxy paints and just paint your pitcher. That or use acrylic if later on down the road you don't like it, you can easily wash it off. Because I think the white picture looks really great there!
The hard working power couple ❤❤ wovw the new products look awesome .. i got a birthday next month so im goin to shout myself a scetch book from your shop ohh soo cant wait ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just popping in to say I appreciate your videos I’ve been a long time viewer now & I love hearing you just chat about your daily business tasks and regular life ! 😊
I like the gallery wall, it feels more personalized and more homely. If you added more boxes and products then it will look like you're in a warehouse with coloured walls. The problem with the sweaters is a brand new, big and very time consuming thing, it will be frustrating and you're just working out the kinks and testing the waters to see what works and how to utilize time and such the best. You and Christian are doing a great job!
I love the gallery wall! And there was another green vase behind the leaf one you found... not sure if you seen it or if you did and didn't like it. I can't wait to see your decorations when you put them out! Especially Samara!
We would get more orders than we can physically do in a reasonable amount of time. We would have to limit the pre-order inventory numbers, which is basically the same as what we do now. If we can make 200 sweaters in a month, then that's all we can do, whether it's a pre-order or not. What I need is a second machine.
My rescue kitties were feral babies, are obsessed with going outside and have intense hunting instincts. But most of the time when they dart out the door they just run near the parking lot and roll around in a gravel patch just like midna was on the bricks. We are planning on building them a catio but are also considering a move so haven’t done anything yet. My worry is that my girl will tear her way out and run off to hunt mice, because she has already destroyed 4 window and door screens, plus figured out how to open the patio door if we leave it unlatched 😅 On the upside our building doesn’t have a mouse problem anymore!
Auntie Baylee I like it when you take us shopping. More Please, also are the shelf prices in Euro, Canadian Script or other???? The kitties are so sweet, I have a friend who harness trained her two kitties from the time she got them at 2 months and they love going walkies with mom and dad. I really like watching these Saturday update posts on life and business, it brings a new perspective on how others make life and business work. Thank you for sharing.
I do want to restock the Witch Hat notepads at some point, but that wouldn't be doable in time for the next sweater restock. I also want to redesign them (using the same art) to be a 5x7 notepad.
My surroundings have a huge impact on my mood and the gallery wall would 100% lift my spirits while working in the room, packing orders etc. Looking at utility shelves doesn't exactly do that for me lol
Speaking of your gallery wall, you need to go back and watch Chucky 2 and look at the living room of the house Andy moves into. Tom and I have been rewatching the series and I IMMEDIATELY paused the movie and brought up your vlog because they have a gallery wall that looks JUST like yours, it was so weird!!! The same pink and everything. 😂
Always look forward to watching the vlog when you post. Glad the sweaters are selling well, hoping to get one soon. I think the gallery wall is great. Be kind of sad if everything was turned to storage, even if the products are very cute. I know that when I had to pack up my decor for a bit it was greatly missed. For the post office thing, surprised they didn't offer a credit limit increase. might not help much but will mean you can put off calling a bit longer each time. must be frustrating. why do they make it so hard for you to give them money? 😅
Aaaaaaaaaaaa. You're making me wanna go out and buy decorating and my fiance is all we need to cut back on stuff. I am def waiting on zip up sweaters and I'd love to finally get a sketchbook from you. Maybe in time for the Holidays.
I don’t know if that white jug is anything fancy or worth something but you could paint that or paint a design on it, or maybe put some vinyl cut outs on it!
@@BayleeJaeyou could do a tape for each season like your normal flower tape for spring then one with summer flowers, winter and fall etc and then for Christmas and Halloween
Not a waste of space. You really dont wanna work surrounded by boxes. This is good for your mental health. You could change it up during seasons and holidays.
we have a tortie who rolls around like that when we take her outside, when she is not doing that she loves to sun her butt crack, it looks as funny as it sounds.
How do you even pay per phone? This is not an option here in the Netherlands. We can remit using our electronic banking system, or if you order online you can pay using a credit card, or even more conveniently, pay online using a link between. the store - your bank and yourself.
Have you considered making the embroidery made to order? That would ensure you do not need to have a lot of stock on hand and you can get an actual feel to how many you need to produce and would free up time. (You could still set a maximum that you wanna produce/sell, so you won't get overwhelmed) You could also have a few on hand in storage but it should not eat up your storage space constantly. I mean sure people will have to wait longer for their embroidered stuff but I think once it is a more streamlined process for you, it will be quick too
You can't imit overall stock levels, only each variant. For the strawberries, there are 70 variants. I haven't found a Shopify app that allows an overall cap.
You could make it easier on yourself by offering a set amount of sweater/hoodies etc with the front and sleeve and a set amount with just the front. Then you would be able to do those amounts and not have to wait and see how many of each you need.
Why not have gallery wall and nice lookin storage? Also get wire cube storage and make a catio. I did it for my cat and it works great, but I also zip-tied it together for extra security
On to the gallery wall . You need to remember that space if for you to be creative and not all business. And the wall is a reminder to take a break and do non buisness things.
When you don't have the space to keep product, try to make an order where estimated delivery will be on launch date. Because then you know it will be space for the next delivery. Also, I find the halloween season so fascinating. Here, halloween is not so much about trick or treat and decoration, but more an excuse to dress up and party. I am not a decor person, I am minimalistic, but I am also crushing on your dolls and your wall. Always looking forward to new videos.

a catio extension from that window would be perfect! There are even companies that build custom catios based on your space and what you want
no matter how old i get i will never stop watching baylee jae. 5 years going strong!

Thanks for watching! The pricing on the store shelves is Canadian dollars.
That neighborhood is beautiful!

YOU WILL NEVER ESCAPE ME BAYLEE, IM IN YOUR SHADOW
Try putting the frosted green vase inside the leaf one to see if that would work??
The embroidery item is taking up your time.
Yay!!!!! You filmed my order!!!! ❤❤❤❤
It's crazy that you streamed that late! gal look after yourself pls 🥺🥺
I was taking care of my mental health by treating myself to a long stream. 😎
Physical health may have suffered a bit. 😆
Lol "Oh, here's the preminum s***."
For the forearms, flesh toned or white stockings/tights stuffed with batting may work.
I don’t know if that white jug is anything fancy or worth something but you could paint that or paint a design on it, or maybe put some vinyl cut outs on it!
32:20 you can add paper or vinyl to the hollow glass tube to make it opaque.
Those little ghosts are giving Patrick Star vibes XD
Try setting up an irrigation system for your outside plants. It's been a lifesaver for me. Plant some catnip for the ladies
Idk about those pointy white ghosts 😳
You have the Halloween thicc design for the paper tape
It takes 3 weeks to manufacture & ship, so it will practically already be Halloween by the time it arrives. What I want is more non-seasonal tape.
@@BayleeJaeyou could do a tape for each season like your normal flower tape for spring then one with summer flowers, winter and fall etc and then for Christmas and Halloween

I cant believe you still have a Toys R Us! They all closed down in the US
I got one of those cauldron mugs but mine says ✨Magic Potion ✨ on it, got it for $3 from Target!
put a paper insert into the clear glass vase? instead of painting it? Get it laminated so its fine to be wet?
we have a tortie who rolls around like that when we take her outside, when she is not doing that she loves to sun her butt crack, it looks as funny as it sounds.
Maybe get wheely wardrobes to store sweaters between all the shelves to take up a bit more space with storage
Get sticky dots to just stick on front of dot sketchbooks. Easy peasy.
I didn't have time for that 😆
Is it just me or are those light up ghosts giving KKK 😭
At least I’m not the only one who saw it
Nooooooo now I won't be able to unsee it.

I call a customer service person and they run the charge through on their end. It directly debits my bank account.
Will the frosted green vase fit into the one with the leaves? Just a thought idk if it is a good one or not lol

try painting only the fruit raised pattern on the utensil thing
