What a good boy! I have a Bernedoodle who’s obedient but can sometimes be optional. Would love to get her to this point like Boomer!

This is fantastic! My 2yr old Bernedoodle is a therapy dog and listens to commands SO well, but I would not be so confident to take her out without a leash. I am so impressed! Great job!!!

I have a Bernie doodle myself, he never listens to my dad but he listens to me for some reason. Lol
He sees you as more dominant and the alpha wolf so he'll obey you better
You are repeating commands until he complys. I've heard that not something you are supposed to do. Do you agree or disagree?
That's really good. My berne pup is so selective and stubborn about all commands!!

Hi there! I think it's wonderful that you want to adopt a pup. Even though you work those long hours (but only 3 days a week) you can still do it! Find a great enrichment daycare for those days you are gone and/or someone you trust to watch him at home or your home. Even a trustworthy company to come in and let him out and walk him those days. Then find a great trainer. We have several locations in Florida! They will teach you how to maintain all the obedience if you choose a board and train program like you see in this video!
Do you still train Bernedoodles?
Sooo many!! If you go to "videos" and do a search, it should pull them up or you can go to the Bernedoodle playlist. They might not all be in the playlist but you'll see a lot!!

When your walking and you both stop do you just stop? Or do you tell the dog to stop? I had hard time hearing what your commands were due to music and such.
Hi there! We train them that when we stop while heeling, they stop too and they sit!

Your style of trading is very like the trainer who worked with my daughter’s cockapoo. Very similar in stubbornness and learning quickly but being selective. He responded SO well to this positive type of training.
