October surprise. I am willing to handle the additional financial burden of the strike if it means Trump retakes the White House.
Biden is no longer running. That's what the incumbent does...
He wants to impose massive tarriffs so you'll be taking the financial burden the entire time he's in office. It's been estimated it would cost an additional $4000/year for the ave household.
Im glad i don't buy trash for the end of the year😂😂😂
And doing this when so many need so much after the hurricane…classy. GFY AH’s.
Caleb: "Retailers and consumers have seen this coming."
Everyone: "WTF is this now?"
I will be skipping Christmas this year. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The United States has not recovered from the supply chain problems during Covid. We have a housing shortage. We need building materials for the catastrophic biblical event that just happened. The fact that the government won't step in I find that to be disgusting, irresponsible, selfish, narcissistic, and other words that I can't think of right now, I live in a country that hates children in the elderly, and that's a shame because no country can recover from anything who hates children in the elderly
Or (just bare with me for a sec,) it was precisely the over abundance of government regulations that has caused this. So the likelihood that they can fix it without further causing “unforeseen” consequences is zero. Unless of course you mean the government deregulating in which point you would correct. The other problem we have is incentive structures. For example, two of the greatest tragedies of no longer incentivizing the family unit, is families no longer takes care of their families. So they know think it’s someone else’s responsibility to; perform the act and (depending on the person,) pay for the act. This is typically where small community comes in. But small communities have been disincentivized too. And the 2nd is te vanishing birth rate. Where we won’t even have enough ppl to physically care youth or the dying.
It's not the governments job and for that matter the Democrats and Biden support these stupid unions. Like the man just said, Biden doesn't want to lose support right now during the election.
The thing people don't understand and increase in pay from the strike will be negated by the inflation it will cause. Dropping of interest rate is already going to make inflation worse, but they want to add accelerate to an already burning fire lmao lol.
People are dumb
Im going to stock up bananas. 😂😂
PANIC! Everyone, PANIC NOW!!
These workers are asking for a 77% raise. That is insane. They already make 80k, and with overtime make upwards of $200k.
Retail is the least of it. Groceries, pharmaceutical s, autos, construction and farming export are going to get hit and that means inflation.
Most imports are over abundance of goods that are already in the warehouse and storages so this strike will not be devastating but will hamper growth. America needs to ween off trades and goods from other countries like China and start building and producing. This strike will have a detrimental effect on the economy so depended on foreign nations. All that money and weapons that went over seas needs to go back in the pockets of businesses and farmers. U.S. Government is a impediment and a parasite to the American economy and stifles growth.
Most products can be made and and produced in America. We have the food and resource but bad government.
Americans don't need Christmas trees and decorations or holiday crap made in China. They need a strong economy without government intervention and regulations. Also food and apparel made in U.S.A. is better and helps keep jobs in America.
Yup, it could even throw the Election in November!
What happens if the president does that AND the workers say SUCK IT an don't go back to work
Fasting is good for the body
hoax amount. why not saying 50 billion
I wonder if the union is thinking for the long run because this strike just might push the port owners to go to automation and if they do that it will be less workers and automation don't strike.
Automation gets hacked. Especially during war times
⛄🌲🎄🎅🤶⛪🦌✝️
They just need to get whatever differences exist resolved …
& “toot sweet”..
I love using that phrase ..!!
“Toot Sweet”..!!
Go Mammah!
Go Mammah!
Go Mammah!
Go Vance!!!
Can’t wait for the cyberpandemic
*Plandemic, get it right
They're feeling the pain of Biden and Kamala's policies like everyone else. Vote for Trump if you want things to be affordable again.
Me talking to my grandkids one day: "Long ago there was this thing called Christmas......"
Support the workers! Company needs to share the love!
Absolutely correct.
Remember this union cover’s Texas ports…. Where is most of USA s refinery s ?
6,7bill and they can't pay the workers. No buno
Long strike there will be empty shelves at wal mart for Christmas shopping
We should all walk off the job and stop paying taxes.. What they gonna do?
The government needs to step up and intervene in this. Greedy union members OWN the Democratic Party. Prices are expensive enough. This will only make it worse.
That's not being greedy buddy. You just don't know the history of these greedy companies and the only ones that can stand strong against them is the union. U don't even know that we fighting for u too. When a robot come and take your job than u Going to think what we was fighting for.

Fast food workers wages increased by 200%,, shut it down you guys deserve better
And thousands of those fast food workers were laid off because of it, along with restaurants going out of business. 😉
The amish are doing fine
The big one is the oil imports.. will end up in inflation!!!
Alone we beg, together we bargain.
It’s so simple IT’s Kamala s fault!
5 billion a day for the people at the top is devastating
Ya labor market is strong for illegals low wage !
Have No fear President Biden is Here and he is a great negotiator
Can we ditch the workers and use technologies instead?
Could? But wouldn't it take years to build or get the equipment installed
They cant fully take over now. Still
Need human oversight.
@@ryanmoore310- The equipment is ALREADY installed. That's what the Union is up in arms about...
@@ryanmoore310- The equipment is already in place...
What about using the Merchant Marines to help out with shipping goods? For the meantime.
