- In this editorial episode, Mr. Sujit Nair delves into the exit polls for the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram. According to the Poll of Polls, the BJP is projected to win 124 seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the Congress may have to settle for 102. In Telangana, the Congress is expected to form a government with an anticipated 62 seats, while the ruling BRS may secure 44.
The trend of the last 30 years is likely to persist in Rajasthan, with the BJP expected to comfortably secure a win with 104 seats, while the Congress-led alliance may secure 85 seats and lose power.
Mizoram is predicted to have a hung assembly, with the ruling MNF potentially securing 14 seats and the ZPM 17 seats. The Congress could be a game-changer with an expected win of 7 seats. According to the Poll of Polls, the BJP is projected to secure only 1 seat.

Modi is patriotic, Modi is hard worker, Modi is Non Corrupt, Modi is good administrator, Modi does not appease any community for votes, Modi gives all benefits to all and not on caste, religion Basis, Modi has charishma and Modi is trusted by majority of people. Modi is for development and not for subsidies. None of the opposition leaders have these qualities. Yogi and Assam CM are close to these qualities of Modi. Going by the exit polls I would like to 'congragulate' The BJP, they managed to put up the fight. As we all know that their foot soldiers work hard on the election day with providing buses, vehicles, refreshments, social media messaging, selfie points, whatsapp messages where they tell the next person to vote for the BJP. All of this requires a lot of money which gives them the advantage in these types of management. But at the same time, special mention is also needed as INC also put up the fight with less resources, fighting against ED, CBI, IT along with Election Commission being baised against them.
But all that money is our tax payers money going to some rich guys and they are spending it on their party. We will always be proud of our national parties since we never care about what our future holds/hidden

The accuracy of the exit poll depends on the reply of the person voted. The person may not always tell the truth especially when the person has voted against the ruling party.
Next who gets benefitted by these polls? Nobody except the agencies who run the TV shows So it is purely commercial and we fools are trapped by it

By taking simple average you are not eliminating the error factors of individual polls ( at this stage it is unknown which poll is more error prone ), u are merely giving error factor uniformly which does not sound logical

I agree with you. In Congress, the central leadership is very weak and ineffective but the regional leadership is strong and can compete with the BJP. For the BJP the position is exactly the opposite.

It is highly probable that agencies are playing safe.The data given by them shows that they are correct even when Congress/BJP wins/loses in both biggger States Raj/MP.Any range that exceeds +\- 5 should be treated as externally influenced by big money factor.Moreover, it seems that BJP is concerned only with the wins over bigger States and insensitive to smaller States as they can resort to arm twisting of regional parties post winning the larger States.Accordingly, Modi's campaigning were concentrated towards bigger States only.Today the exit polls are fudged, a prelude towards manipulation of elections tomorrow.Money talks and big money talks louder than action.
It is the people who vote is supreme in democracy. If they want Modi what is the problem for the leftists. They were in power in WB for 25 years & still bengal is under developed.
