I borrowed their cassette (it was 1991) “Time is Running out” from a friend and never gave it back. Serves me right because now I can’t even find - but I still know every single song on it, word for word.
Karen is heavy handed, bout pushed that girl off the stage. Lol. I know cause I met her after a concert in Brooklyn and she patted me, I was thinking she got power in that arm! I LOVE THEM.

those trills @1:58-1:60 from Jacky....those Ella Fitzgerald and dinah Washington soft jazz trills........if the right producer would have worked with Jacky she would have been a great Gospel soft Jazz singer. her runs and trills get missed a lot in the hype of listening to the other girls or just ignoring what she doing altogether. I've always listened to all voices especially during their adlibs and magical sister moments when they spontaneously do vocal things that just match. Jacky in I made it, that break she did that was so hot footings did it on the next round, original name it claim it at the end when the girls are ooohing and this beautiful awww aww aww aww comes up that's Jacky. and others to many to name even now that she does mostly tenor. she's added some fire on those freestyle moments
They're good singers, they were battling tho, even everyone on here is talking about them and not GOd. Love them still, competition is that flesh, just got the shine instead of the Spirit on this one thats all.
I don't understand why folk had to turn it into something it wasn't .. They were cool about it. And that young woman did amazing. Karen was cool about it. People have been graced by God with gifts and talents. It would be insane to think no one will never ever be able to do it someday. Hats off to the clark sisters because i've seen them teach others how to do what they do in their own right.
Karen didn't acknowledge Pam at all she was singing towards her sisters the whole time .... Pam said I'm gonna show you and showed out .... great performance from all the them
@slimray2005 Pam did an excellent job keeping up with Karen. She even went higher than Karen did at the end before Karen pushed her. Even Karen knows that. They all did a fabulous job. Pam did exceptionally well because she already knows how to sing and can hang with the best of them. I enjoy this clip. These are truly sistas with strong and powerful voices. I congratulate them all for a wonderful performance
