Thanks for the comment B) Over the course of the last 3 years I've owned (in order) a Ruckus, Grom, CBR500R, GSXR600, and now another Ruckus... I love the Ruck, but it's purpose is really just to be fun to build.. It's not really something thats like "freeing" to ride like a sport bike, and its not something fun and stunty like a grom.. I bought another ruckus because I wanted something to run around town on and to build a cool looking scooter. The ruck is not fast by any means, you could do a GY6 swap and hit like 70mph if thats something you want lol
Maybe one day it will be stretched.. but i do currently have some custom wheels to throw on it. Just waiting on getting a lowered handlebar before i can toss em on. I will be making a video installing the new wheels (keeps OEM brakes!) sometime this spring
in New York, the Ruckus is considered a "Class A Motorcycle". You need a motorcycle license to drive it & full gear, which I have lol. This isnt an expressway, its just a long strip of road near my house, never busy
@@kaoriisdriving I live in New York to and im interested in buying me a ruckus but the honda dealer told me since the bike is a 50cc engine you don't need any type of license to ride the ruckus on the streets he just told me to get it insured & stay away from highways. im so confused
@@thegreat1548 so in NY the law USED to be by engine cc size. RECENTLY, they changed it form cc to mph. Many salesman and even DMV clerks dont know / havent heard about this updated rule. Any 2 wheel vehicle that goes over 30mph is deemed a "Class A Motorcycle" by NY law, as of like 2019 i believe. Trust me I did a lot of research on this topic when I bought my first Ruckus a while ago.
@@kaoriisdriving Okay thank you that makes sense i hit up the same dealer today and he told me im going to need a M1 license lol, which one you think is worth it the honda navi or the ruckus?
Nice. I’m thinking about getting one. You took that corner nicely. The scenery remind me where I live. Northern New Jersey.
Mine is an older one I just bought but Bo at Station Park in Louisville tuned it up for me. 39.5 about agrees with me too.
great video.
Thank you!
What an awesome Ruckus 😎👍👍
any regrets with the purchase? ive own a cbr600rr and a Grom sold both. ive been bikless for over a year now. thinking about purchasing a Ruckus.

My stock 2011 ruckus only goes 35, any solutions? Im really lightweight so that’s not the problem. How do i get it to go at least like 40?
maybe u always driving against wind or going up hills? also do you carry luggage with you?
@@akapeegly6463 It goes 35 even downhill because of the limiter but why does the limiter already hit at 35?

@@kaoriisdriving if you do stretch the ruckus do u need to upgrade the engine? Or you can still use the 49cc one
