Having an extra 3 tiles is really giving; you can use the advantage of your enemies not knowing which gear you have to suprise them. Spirit slap gives gene extra damage output when he uses his super which should make him better at assasinating brawlers with low HP
Ennemies can actually see if you have that gear, there's a special gear icon under your brawler

Extra 3 tiles is quite a lot, will need to be pretty careful of gene's super range from now on, can already see plenty of genes in 3v3 now 👀
I'm pretty sure Supercells counts 1/3 of a singular block as a 'tile', aka 3 'tiles' is what you would normally think of as 1 tile. Nevertheless, that is still a huge buff to his super range.

I think super charge rate nerf good for gene.
To be honest I want mythic gears to also have some downsides when equipping them, so that the gear doesn't get nerfed to the ground and become useless.
Mythic gears are *fairly* balanced by supercel standards, mythic gears released so far have been strong, but not quite broken

The downside should be that you are missing out on a basic gear. I think the shield gear should go up to 800, or simply recharge faster for example. And I was fine with damage gear at 20%, but its still decent at 15%
Still sad that they didn't add basic gear variations to the game to make every gear is useful. Would love to see the shield gear give you a shield on super for tanks only, instead of a passive shield on max hp. And would be nice if the speed gear wasn't directly tied to bushes for every brawler.
@@xaius4348 the damage gear needed a tweak since release imo, it always slipped under the radar despite how essential it was for every brawler. Sure, it's still the safest gear to pick for any brawler, but it's much less polarizing especially for those who don't have access to gears yet or simply would like room for other playstyles.
Gears as a whole i'd say are in a decently balanced spot, all gears can be utilized without being *too* essential to a brawler's overall kit (with some exceptions such as Rosa + Speed gear). They've been playing reasonably safe with the mythic gears so far, the real "cost" is the skill needed to truly utilize most of them (except Tick's gear, it could use a small nerf imo)
It's nice to see the Brawl Stars team finally starting to balance out the game. But I think 3 extra tiles for Gene's super is WAYY too good for a gear 😂😂
Actually Gene's mythical gear now gives an extra 1 tile (previously it was 1/3 tile💀, the description was wrong)

@@atoll5944 Developers have range units, 1 range unit = 1/3 tile and the description said range units are not tiles, this is probably what made the inconsistency between the logic of the game and the text with localizations(I forgot to write this in my last comment😅)

Gene is actually one of the best brawlers in Duels imo, he outranges nearly everything, and it’s super easy to charge his super thanks to that. Vision Gear makes him insane on somewhat bushy maps, and his 2nd SP makes him a lot more oppressive. If you play well, you can even outplay tanks.
I haven’t bought Talk to The Hand yet since I’m not great at aiming his super at long ranges, but once I get more practice, Gene will be insane with it
The new dual map is a cheese map used poco, emz and griff as your 1st, 2nd and 3rd brawler also note poco must be 9th power level u must get the healing gadget and the screeching solo sp. Trust me this comp work well for average player

When they say 3 tiles, they actually mean 1 tile. Because apparently tiles are measured in thirds or something.
I believe this is what the gear was originally meant to be, but the measuring system confused whoever implemented it, because why would they think a millimeter extra range was useful?

Here a tip to counter gene
If you are a tank than hide behind a wall and get hit with gene's little attacks so you can charge your super slowly like el primo , frank but others like buster and rosa just rush and try to dodge gene's attacks I know its really difficult but if you are mid range you can dodge gene attacks easily if it has a gadget to push you back and repeat the whole process and waste his gadget

That's true majority of us play with randoms. It very difficult to find good team players. Secondly time is an issue since most of us just play casually for few hrs.

In 3v3 the best star power is the first. Best modes are knockout and bounty, but he's good everywhere except in heist. He's not very good in hot zone, too.
