I know I have been saying it alot but that has been my point on here. Sima is another wage vampire in waiting as well. He, like Ridvan had a poor injury record, and Souttar is another. There are others as well dating back to Gerrards time. This why I don't want Traore.

@@rangersnut Sima on a third of what Matondo is on . Matondo, Roofe and Davies have been on 150k a game played over last couple of seasons biggest wage robbers , piss poor squad players at that.

So many injuries from players bought in the last 3 years. Hopefully this will stop with the incoming players. Its bad enough that ceptic have the refs in their pockets, but having a load of players out through injury is giving us very little chance. Hopefully we dont waste money on the transfer market this year.

Why do we never go into these games and our doubtful guys make it? Something isn't right. What's happened to guys taking injections/ playing through the pain barrier to play in a last game of the season derby cup final? If they play 30,45 mins and need subbed then make the sub, you have 5 you can make. When did our club become so snowflake?
Players are now not risked because of the money involved in risking longer term injury and losing on possible transfer fees, etc.

He is not the only one. If I had my way Tav, Goldson, Borna, Lundstram, Lawrence, Dowell, Silva, Sima, Cantwell, Wright, Mclaughlin, Balogun and Jack would be gone next season.
We could consider selling Lammers to Utrecht for 2m with a 30% sell on fee if they consider a straight swap Scott Wright for Taylor Booth. He looks a decent prospect on right.
If I were off work as often as some of these players are then I would be moved on and so should the medical team at Rangers

I think some are. I think too many make the right soundbites for the managers ears, but lack conviction when it counts. They gave the new man some new manager bounce and then downed tools. The same ones comming multiple managers and no doubt when improvement is pushed form me that is when they down tools and fall into old patterns. They want easy money. Look at the last 5 or 6 matches in the league. That wasn't a team full of desire and hunger and it was telling from how they started games. The same old faces cheat the fans and it rubs off on anyone who comes in and joins. The fact they lost the league for me from where we were was really poor but worse was the manner in which we chucked it. Go and listen to Taverniers interview. That's a guy who knows all the standard, stock things to say, but look at the eyes, face and tone of him. That doesn't look like a guy raring to go and who has belief we can win this final. We need a captain who has massive character and can fire his team mates up. Goldson is the same type, so is Borna and Lundstram. Going through the motions ripping out the big bucks. Tav does not set the tone as a Rangers captain should and his defensive ability is lacking. Just like the rest of those I mentioned Goldson, Lundstram, Borna and Souttar as well. Ridvan is made of paper mache.

I don't think Jack will even be in the squad. If the manager intended for him to come back he would have featured in recent squads.
Also don't think Tav will pay further forward. While i like the idea, the manager won't go for it.
I respect its the managers decision who starts. However only a mug would start Lundstram in my view, and if he does as it sounds like he will, then Clement is a total mug at that point. We might not see trainings, and know them personally but we have eyes and he has been rotten at the business end of the season culminating in a horror show that killed our title bid. So Clement can pick who he wants, if he is right and we win, I will eat humble pie and apologise for doubting him. If he picks him and we lose then he better be prepared for the wrath that comes from alot of our support. I hope Phils story goes well this weekend. 🙏

@@andreascrease5213 He can use potentially Sterling, Raskin, Diomande, Mckinnon, Dowell, King or even Rice. Literally no need for Lundstram. When something is failing over and over why stick with it? At least do something fresh.
My team would be, Butland, Sterling RB, Balogun if he can make it and Davies, Fraser, Raskin and Diomande, Dowell, Mcausland, Sima and Dessers.
I suspect Clement will go with Butland, Tav, Balogun, Davies, Borna, Lundstram, Diomande, Sterling RW, Silva LW, Lawrence, Dessers.
I suspect subs he will use Raskin, Mcausland, Cantwell and Sima. He may go for Cantwell instead of Lawrence and use Lawrence as sub. I don't think he overly likes Cantwell, so i am leaning towards Lawrence getting the start.

I don’t understand the hate with Yilmaz, There is other Players in that squad who have been injured far more time then him do they get stick for it? No. You also need to remember before he came here he had NO injuries at all no problems what so ever, yes this could just be a case of bad luck for the wee man But also our medical Team is not good at all.
He is also one of If not our best player at the current moment, drives up the pitch sure his defending isn’t as good but he is miles better than Tav and BB.
That's not true on Ridvan. Use a search engine. Type in players name and end the search line after name with injury history. A simple monkey brain fan like myself can do it. You will then see a site starting with T, and ending with arkt. I can't mention names or my comment would get flagged or blocked. When you look you will see Ridvan already had an established pattern of regular injury, which has continued here. Do the same for Sima and others all the way back to Gerrard like Zungu, Rossiter and more and the picture becomes crystal clear. That policy for injury patterned players has continued all the way up until Clement. Cortes didn't have a poor injury record. That one was bad luck. That can happen. No one hates Yilmaz, people are pointing out that guys like him are no use to us when they miss important chunks of every season. This is a very physical league and players must be robust and we have to do proper checks and be smarter. He is better than Tav and BB generally. You are not wrong there.
@@rangersnut I was going based of what I saw other people saying about his injury history, sorry about that. I do think we should keep him though but each to their own.
@@jessicaReilly-lv8fr hey no need to apologise. Not everyone looks that deeply. I don't usually either, it's just I am sick to death of all these injuries as most of us are. The level and the continued presence of so many injured has to have an answer. I believe this is it. Its not that I don't rate the lad, he has ability in spades when on form. He just can't do it enough and while money is said to be there by Turkish clubs desperate to take him, I would be inclined to sell, take even money or a little profit and out in a sell on clause. Just incase his injury fortunes train. If he does stay for me, January would be the cut off to see if he breaks again.
None of this is a players fault. He sees an opportunity and takes it. It is fully on those doing their proper checks and due diligence. What we should do in my view, is check that history fully and then if there is considerable time away from playing in a players history due to injury and it happens in a pattern periodically then we should end any interest and move onto guys who at least look more robust. I know there are no guarantees and injuries happen, but at least give ourselves a fighting chance.
@@rangersnut Same here, ridvan is my favourite player and I would be really sad if he left in the summer. But i understand he is setting the team back and honestly i feel bad for him.

The fans have huge expectations and demands of the players. Then they don't hold back when these expectations are not met with the required effort aand desire. I really don't think that many of the players have the mental strength to cope with this for long. So they look for excuses to hide from the spotlight.

@@rangersnut True but some of these players were never injury prone to this extent until coming here. Cortez, sima, yilmaz, davies, matondo, danilo and the list goes on werent injury prone. now theyre essentially on wheelchairs and looking like early retirement might be the only option. The light has to go on the medical department and clement has hinted at huge internal problems regarding this issue in recent pressers.
There's a serious problem within the club; as the manager mentioned, they have identified the problem. The fans should be told the reason why almost 3 seasons have been horrendously affected by injuries. This is the first season in the last 3 that we've finished it with a fit striker. Ridiculous.
Looking forward to a back 4 of Barisic, Davies, King and Tav. Weve got absolutely zero chance of winning. Clear these serial losers out.

My trust in Clement will be damaged if he starts Lundstram and Borna. Then next season if he doesn't clear the deadwood and then gives Lundstram a new deal, keeps Tav and Goldson as starters then the trust will be blown to bits beyond repair for me. That said I have and never would boo our own out on the pitch during a match. Afterwards if the perfromances were rotten and they hadn't gave their all for the badge, that would be different. I don't like losing but I can take it and respect those who give the club everything in pursuit of a win. The manner of our players lacking hunger and fire is what makes my blood boil.
I can’t see Lundstram starting, what’s his mentality going to be like. Will he be pulling out of tackles & will Celtic players try to wind him up, maybe niggle him a bit. Need to be 100% mentally right for this game.

@@andrewcameron1556 I actually don't see why Jack or even Lundstram would be required when, we have Raskin and Diomande, Sterling, King, Dowell, McKinnon and Rice. Who can all play there an move the ball quicker and more effectively. Ideally for me Raskin and Diomande did well in the last 10 mins against Celtic. Raskin caused Mgregor problems. Lundstram was easy meat, and too slow. I also don't get playing either when both should be gone and off the books this summer. 😒
