There is a difference. For instance, there are portions of the Bible that record the words of Satan. Obviously, this is not a direct speaking from God because it is a speaking from Satan. There are also portions of the Bible that express man's natural thought and speaking, not the divine, like some of the Psalms as well as the discussions between Job and his friends. However, these portions were certainly divinely inspired by God to be recorded. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all scripture is God breathed. Also, 2 Peter 2:21, tells us that men were borne by the Holy Spirit meaning they were carried along, or inspired, by the Holy Spirit to write the scripture. This is quite wonderful. The Bible is not an ordinary book but certainly something divine and wonderful.
