Why does one find it very difficult most of the times to come out of an attachment (eg: non veg food, alcohol) Even though one agrees that he /she is habituated or addicted what is it that makes one stuck to the taste of these things? Many a time they themselves agree that drinking is bad but have an excuse that it is only occasional so harmless. Is this right Dear Mohanji?
Dear @mukkumuru, All of us have carrying vasanas, habits, inclinations and desires from lifetimes. Any incident or experience which we like are first stored in memories. The seeds of these memories are sitting in our causal layer which cannot be emptied unless we fulfill them or a diving interference by a Guru or God to remove these . All attachments , habits, inclinations are attached to these memories. Mohanji says there two ways to go through this one is to fulfill them by having that experience (karma) or if you end up having a higher desire then the lower ones automatically get dropped. So for example if you craved for bike when you were 12 but later you crave for a car, the desire to own a bike is automatically dropped. With love, Team Mohanji

Dear Gauri, Mohanji has given some examples in the talk itself. Any sequence of behaviours, if repeated, can form a pattern. Our life is usually governed by patterns, from when we wake up, to what sort of clothes we wear, to the activities that we take part in, the food we eat, the way we respond to love or critisism- all these form patterns in our life. Mohanji tells us that we can overcome these patterns by becoming aware of them (diagnosis), accepting that we have them, and remaining aware of them (witnessing them without participating). Stick to the present and see what you can do now to create fresh positive memories for the future. Create situations to share kindness, selflessness, caring. Add value to society in whichever way you can daily. Ask, what else can I do for the world? So, acceptance is the key. Move on and flow with life. As Mohanji says, "Kill Guilt. Kill Anger, Anxiety, Jealousy, Revenge, Enmity, Distrust, Hatred, Comparison and Desires. They will all make you spend your money faster. They all make you spend emotionally. When you are spent and sick, you will suffer a painful death. Have nothing to do with it. Just love and serve. In this way, when we die, we will die in peace. Guilt is very powerful.
