The Forgotten City is a mystery adventure game of exploration and deduction, and a re-imagining of the critically acclaimed mod that won a national Writers’ Guild award and racked up over 3 million downloads.
Travel 2,000 years into the past and relive the final days of a cursed Roman city, where if one person sins, everyone dies. Combat is an option, but violence will only get you so far. this game was AMAZING - the storyline in Skyrim was so interesting yet disturbing . When i found out they were making it into a game, i literally lost my SH*t . I finished the game in less than 3 days , all 4 endings. the game is so intricate it feels like you are actually in the game or its real life. I love Greek and Roman history so playing a game like this, i was so happy. the entire time.
Same finished the game the other day, it was amazing.

the statues at the beginning follow you with their heads as soon as they are off-screen. If you turn around they will all be staring at you.
now that was interesting, so you steal an object which breaks the law, then you run to the portal and time starts over, but you still have the item from the past, or perhaps it's more like another timeline so you really started another timeline.
so you could potentially steal kill and attack anyone just so long as you survive the onslaught of the law before you go through the timeline stargate.

The Forgotten City is one of the best mods I have played in Skyrim but this game looks amazing, I like that there is some of the dialogue from the mod as well.
I remember this mod on Skyrim took me forever to get it done properly might have to cop this

I just started playing this game recently and it's pretty good so far but I have to admit I was really disappointed that I couldn't bash Karen over the head with my flashlight. I tried ever button combination I could think of and nothing would let me bash Karen over the head with my flashlight. If the developers read this, please fix this oversight in the game. Thank you.

The first thing you said in this video is the Truth 🤷♂️ I randomly found this game I had never heard of it before and I’ve been playing it for hours straight now I’ve had so much fun 😅 The graphics look great the story is interesting the voice acting is pretty good but my favorite part is all the references to Karen’s 🤣 trying to explain that to someone from ancient Rome lol that was such a funny idea

I did. I liked the way the skyrim mod worked a bit more though. The story just mixed so well.

so wait, you can hike in any direction and not find a soul.. yet you managed to find 2 drifting by the river... within the space of a single evening. She's the most suspicious thing in this game. never trust a karen. But you got Al which means... Theorising that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Doctor Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. it's also nice the game allows a long name, like... well "Maximus Decimus Meridius"

One thing that immediately turns me off from a first-person game is when the hand are held up right in the face like that' shows people don't know how to do first person at all.

I played games since I was 5 years old, Im 33 now. Had pc since then tho I had a 9 year old brother, we was 1 of the first guys that I know of to ever play pc games and video games for that mather of fact as we had all consoles that ever dropped aswell. We played ALOT and thru the years Ive played ALOT of diffrent games.
My intrest goes from this to space and lost history (sumerian/annunaki/alien gods) so when I played this thrru with its story I was BAFFELD!!! THIS IS THE BEST GAME IVE EVER PLAYED! The story is AMAZING and I LOVE the sumerian recognition its just a masterpiece

I recommend to buyers of ALL games, (only) watch someone else play the prolgoue or first chapter before buying ANY game! or you come up with a handfull of lemons and no way to make lemoniad. but NEVER watch beyond chapter one!

I played the mod, so I don't have much desire to buy the game for the same general story, plot points, and mechanics, but I'll definitely watch a full lets play

Wow the game actually looks good like I expect all modern games to look. Yikes... the industry has to address this issue. It is ridiculously easy to pull this off ... that this is the only game that looks like this is saying that the game industry is completely broken.
Realistic textures and lack of bloom. Most games just try to blind you so you cannot see the stretched brown/grey paint repeating endlessly without any substance.
Although it would have been nice if they consulted a historian and made the statues more realistic. Would look even better if it was stoned painted in bright colours. Gold cast statues all over the place were not a thing. There might be one at the center of the main temple...

No this game rewards you on exploring and figuring things out not just run and gun/swing a sword...it's a really good story as well
