Next patch BSG will add flare that summons tactical nuke l.
Would actually be hilarious if they did a “nuke” event and when it goes off it just hard crashes everyones’ pc in the raid 😭

Half the time the scavs in the area that's getting bombed won't spawn till after the mortars are done :/

Tbf the transit part actually came in handy. I spawned up by water treatment and forgot that I did so, ran up to northern checkpoint heavy asf with 3 minutes left. Wasn't my extract.....BUT there was a transit part there so I just took that to the next map to avoid the MIA.
It actually slows quests down.. I had to rerun shoreline to “survive and extract”
Dying slows down progress??? Wow

Dunno why they don’t remove that survive and extract requirements like I’ve marked all the tanks just let me complete the quest even if I die , some quests do it so why not all

@bigbops2029 maybe they will address it in the future, but for now the tasks asks you to extract, not transit
If you dont extract from the relevant map, you technically arent following the task instructions anyway

I don’t get it, Trying to learn this game and I finally have a good raid and die to this shit on woods. Had two tasks done and took down 2 geared pmcs.
Most mortars are audible. You can hear the actual mortar go boom a good few seconds prior to the munition landing on you and then the munition is subsonic so you can hear a whistling or woosh as it comes down at you. Seems like Tarkov needs to fix their audio before trying to even attempt to implement stuff like this
While I don't mind being able to drop a mortar on my position for defense or anything, it definitely feels a little exaggerated even more so than COD mortar killstreaks lol.
"Audio can't be broken if all you can hear is mortars" needs to be the comment of the day from the guy in your twitch chat.
@8:29 missed every shot and blames the gun saying its terrible, barely misses but at 0.25x speed you can see they didnt hit the target
Could be in a building and pop a blue smoke and everyone camping out or trying to fight you from outside have no choice but to start running away or in the building, either way you get free shots on them
The noise that eye thing makes is too much, like bruh we can hear the explosions, it needs to be toned down lmao

You can, there is a quest where you can pick up special flares on shoreline and use them to call mortars
I hate how completely useless is "The eye".
It warns you about a mortar strike, a fucking MORTAR STRIKE, it's like having a device to warn you when someone is screaming in your ear
Also buzzes if you’re in dangerous area, so if you’re on the edge it could keep you alive. It also tells you where it is , which is sometimes nice depending on where you are if you’re really far
just add an xp multiplier for map transit
already in and it's basically worthless (+0.1x per map transited)

@@bbbelt_far I’ve been around since .08 and I’m still throughly enjoying the game. I think a lot of people are just burnt out on the game from playing it too much including landmark.
If you got into the game earlier, you would’ve been playing nearly the exact same game but with 30-40 minute queue times between each raid and I am not exaggerating one bit. This is as good of a time to play Tarkov as any imo.
I think this specific mechanic just don't belong in Tarkov. For it to work, building and terrain destruction becomes necesary. Just my opinion...
It can work as a defensive strat, just needs to be toned down extremely. like maybe 4 or 5 mortar strikes.
