Had a customer with a double grip harvester that kept breaking drive wheel mounts. Finally caught him grabbing the tree up high and forcing it down to cut it low. This was the owner doing this.
@Tree Killer Harvester killed tree Tree autocasts `Less oxygen for you` on Guy in harvester Tree dies Guy in harvester goes home Guy in harvester gets old Guy in harvester have low oxygen! Guy in harvester have low oxygen! Guy in harvester have low oxygen! Guy in harvester dies.
It would be reluctant to put up a vid like this, sometimes you do what you have to do but the head is too small to be effective, the stump height is not sustainable and there is a resultant recovery loss that most customers would not be comfortable with. That method of scarfing looks tricky but seems slow and less effective than say front 3 cuts.
You can't swing an H10 on a Bear, never mind an Ergo!!! But you are right, this head is far too small for the tree but there is good cubic meters in the tree so it is sort of worth it i guess??
Ha ha they actually tried to hang an H10 on a bear with a C6 and Pekka ( President of Ponsse North America) told us the crane looked like a banana when they got done! Even a H8 would do quite well with this tree.
cutting pines like this one with this small "hobby" harvester is shame... Why don't you use a correct one? Germany- its home for one of the Komatsu's factory . The 911,931,941,951 are really good harvesters :) I work on a new 911.
This ergo with a c5 and h7 can outdo or hold even with the best komatsu has to offer. Put an h8 on it or get a Bear, and it will run circles around any komatsu. This is not "hobby grade" by any stretch of the imagination

Glad it’s not my mashine
I love cutting trees. I meant the fella on the machine had a hard time with the tree
Well.. That is stupid..

its too big for harvester, why now to use chainsaw?
These thing are pointles for to big trees
@Tree Killer Yea you hawe write. But think With Chainsaw be more easy and not so difficult like with Harvester
@Tree Killer
Harvester killed tree
Tree autocasts `Less oxygen for you` on Guy in harvester
Tree dies
Guy in harvester goes home
Guy in harvester gets old
Guy in harvester have low oxygen!
Guy in harvester have low oxygen!
Guy in harvester have low oxygen!
Guy in harvester dies.
As someone who gets paid by production, it's much faster to cut it with the harvester, not to mention the safety factor.
You need a bigger harvester

I agree with you he's trying to show off doing that cut to feel the tree he wrapped the hoses as well.
Looks like a waste of fuel and u wasted a lot of wood there
What you need is a Husqvarna 266 SG. Or you could get two for the price of that machine.
Wrong tool for the job. Just waste whole bunch of good wood.
Was thinking the same thing That's just lazy
Good job
And I thought you can only use saw when you hold tree in the head.... cuz of security.
Have you tried farming sim 17
Just use a bigger saw head! Like this one - PONSSE H10

„Eigenkompostion“ 😆
Wo kommst du her??
Why so mock the machine?
Goodbye Lumberjacks
Could have cut ten of those other trees by now
I did for 15 years
Take down was wonderful, but preocess made me cry... hahaha nice video!
Cutting off right foot if good wood has hit to be expensive as hell .
Eight
Yeah ! Made in Finland
Be alright if the saw head was bigger for larger 🌳
ya murdered that 🌲 what a waste
Powersaw the answer
Noch Power the ponse
PonssePorn!! 😁
Way to high
ThuerosToronto2
Peccato un prezioso pezzo è perso
That's why they have LogMax 7000. Even 6000 has way better power
chain saw faster
7 minutes with a harvester, over 20-30min with a chainsaw. Yeah might be easier with the chainsaw.
Hier versagt die moderne Technik
Wasn’t split till u f it up
Und wer bezahlt sone scheiße?
?
Alter was für ein rumgewürge.

lol, you think a Komatsu can compete against a Ponsse? Just wow!
Im pretty sure ponsse has the strongest crane and biggest harvesterhead out of the 3 manufactrers this just wasnt the right one
This ergo with a c5 and h7 can outdo or hold even with the best komatsu has to offer. Put an h8 on it or get a Bear, and it will run circles around any komatsu. This is not "hobby grade" by any stretch of the imagination
