Eckhardt Tolle also teaches that we can’t manifest if our wishes are trending positive but our beliefs are still rooted in negative patterns left over from childhood 😢

Brian, I've listened to you for years now (since about 2018-19), and your content never fails to raise my vibration! You always hit the nail on the head and have reaffirmed everything I've RE-remembered. I say "re-" because when I meditate and inquire within, I KNOW the Truth that time is illusory, and I never actually forgot any of this. We all actively delude ourselves every moment by following programming. All we have to do is live in the now, and the now removes that programming and helps you realize that you're fooling yourself into thinking you're a limited being.
Again, thank you Brian for teaching us what we all already know deep down inside. Please, never stop producing content. You're helping us Lightworkers tremendously! ❤

How we see things, makes all the difference in how we see things. Change how you see something, and watch how what you see changes.
Training the mind should be a class in grade school.
This is one of my top favorite Brian Scott episodes.

As I’m listening to this, I realized something that happened to me in 2002, I went to a Dr appointment for some tests, the Nurse came in and said to me; you have the worst Bladder I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe you’re functioning. In that moment I chose to not pay any attention to her. I never gave it another thought by choice. I’ve never really thought about it until listening to this. If I would have ran with that I know I wouldn’t be here listening to this now😘❤️❤️👏👏Thank You Brian

I had a similar experience at a dentist about 20 years ago, he told me I had a cavity in one of my teeth. I didn't feel I had a cavity in that particular tooth. I didn't feel he was being honest with me. I ignored the information and that tooth is still intact with no cavity. I had an exam done a couple years ago and no cavity came up in that tooth, 18 years later. We know our bodies the best.

This was a difficult one. I have done all of them. Number 11 is a big one & I am aware of where it comes from. I do believe some of these are learned behaviors. I see it all of my immediate family members & it all stems around my mom. We had to behave the way she did & the wrath came down on us if we didn’t think like her or if we had a different opinion, that was never allowed. So we grew up thinking it was all normal. I just started learning about my negative beliefs about myself & the world. This is the toughest thing I have ever gone through in my life, facing myself. I want to thank you Brian. I knew this one was gonna impact me & wake me up more. Thank you, I truly am so grateful for you & your content. Much love for you, everyone here & the world 🌎 ❤❤❤❤ sending love ❤️ $ light

Great list, very comprehensive. I remember the years (decades?) I spent working through these distortions. If it encourages anyone, I guarantee that you will feel so much better when you at least get rid of personalizing everything. I think that caused me more misery than any of the rest of the distortions. Learn to recognize when it's someone else's issue and not you; then you can feel compassion, ask an appropriate question (gently), or just ignore the situation with a little Buddha smile. Of course, you also need to be willing to recognize if it is, in fact, you, but that's a different subject.

I have been in Intense Therapy for 4 months 4 times a week hence why my spiritual awakening is on a fast track, working through past trauma, hurts etc . After all ,the soul keeps a score so digging up and processing is essential . Different subject matter 🧘🏻‍♀️
However, I wanted you to know that this subject matter and your 14 examples are spot on from a clinical perspective. Shared video with some of my group and therapists .
Distorted thinking is a REAL behavior from past experiences from the subconscious. Mindfulness to balance negative thoughts, asking questions to understand ( contempt prior to investigation) and I am learning THE WORLD IS NOT CONSPIRING AGAINST ME. Ego is conspiring my distorted thoughts & perception. 🙏🌍💚❤️🧘🏻‍♀️

I've also gone through the transcript and I think Overgeneralization was named as third, then Jumping conclusions was also named as third, then Catastrophizing is said to be sixth. Are these steps listed anywhere? I don't want to take up your valuable time, knowing how much content you produce (I listen to almost every one! Thank you.)

    Hi Brian,
What could cause an individual to embody nearly all of the distortions? I believe everyone can have a few distortions to work through, but to have nearly all of them seems rather extreme.
I have definitely been a "Should" person, I've recently learnt the statement "Sh!t on the shoulddas". The fallacy of change is also something I have recently come to realize I did alot with my ex. It was actually a very hard and painful pill to swallow. I was so in love with his potential, and wouldn't accept who he was as the man who stood before me. I realized that in every interaction I was effectively rejecting him. I still struggle with this realization.
    I appreciate your content immensely🙏🫶🤍

Some people need to understand we can't actually "control" people. Its actually manipulation and that is never good. We should never manipulate late people. We can give "gentle pushes" to push them in a direction. If we do "hard pushes" people are more than likely to do the opposite of what we expect or want them to do. We have to stop labeling things. For we normally label things negatively or get upset when things don't go well cause of our labeling. Yes we must learn to admit, especially to ourselves, that we are not always right. We don't need "fight for truth." Truth stands on it's on and never falls. When we try to manipulate people according to our own desires we lack empathy for others. We must remember that Jesus taught to be humble. Being humble is respecting other people's viewpoints and feelings even if you do not agree. When he verbally spared with the pharisees it was never at a point of arrogance, but humility towards the truth. Seeing the truth as being above him as he spoke it. Knowing it stands on its own. That is why once they wanted to stone him, but he said, "Do not the scriptures say the ye are gods?" (They were saying he was claiming to be the son of God.) After quoting that psalm they were so stoned and unable to refute him he was able walk past them without one laying a hand on him and without someone throwing a stone at him, We must remember we must be humble, but never condemning ourselves. When we say things like "this wont work out," "things will never work out like that," or "this always happens" is always us condemning ourselves. We having negative emotions attached to these words. In the end we reap what we sow. We must remember we always reap what we sow. You never sow an apple and get a chicken. Its just not how things work.
