One of my many, many times great grandmothers was a Völva or, at least, history has her recorded as one. No, I'm not naming names to prove anything to anyone online. However, I'm inclined to believe there's truth to it, most of the women in my family have some form of foresight and some of the men as well that came off that line. I know seidhr was more a woman's art than a man's but... it's an intriguing thought in a lot of ways.
