Man, in my 30 years of cutting firewood for our winters in New Zealand, this is the best thing I've ever seen. You are a genius. Do you mind if I copy it?
This is the best bit of kit I have seen, ideal for logging at work. Are you using 2 different square section steels it looks as though they fit comfortably inside each other If so what sizes did you use. I would like to rig some of this up to a trailer for portability and stability doing away with the extending legs. You should patent this before someone else does. Great stuff "dmiko2" Northumberland.
Just fabricated one of these and i can say honestly this is the best Log holder ive made .i tried the funnel one worked but not very well tried the spiked one ok but still the logs moved .traditional saw /log horse ok but the logs fall down in the middle ,this one securely holds the log and it cant move . i might have a go at selling these as there the best idea ive seen in many a while .wonder if theres a Patent out on it ? cant really see it but you never know
Vary Nice idea.... Suggest U consider the merits of adding a shelf on the side of the bucking hoarse's vertical member especially designed to hold the running saw for both your convenience of not needing to bend over to constantly set down and pick up the saw n for situational awareness of your running saw, this way you will always know exactly where the saw is when picking up your branches n logs, thus perhaps never end up falling on it n changing your life permanently. If this is a commercial product vs a one of a kind home made device, the safety factor will be multiplied easily by the total number of units sold me thinks....
Great tool well done! Only comment as has already been said - that saw chain is dull! It's not the saw power that is causing it to cut slow. Also for your demo I'd wear full PPE, helmet etc as it just lends a more professional look to everything. But a great tool indeed.
“Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away” Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Excellent.
Wow, I would like one of these, it's a great design.
I'm quite impressed .
now that's worth marketing. very cool
Simple ideas are always the best great tool
Still one of the best & simplest designs that I've seen....
wow looks great, really good

Looks good for logs that aren't too heavy to lift. What about big timer?
This is awesome! If you are selling them, please drop me a note, I would like to buy one.
would be very interested in buying one of your log holders. are they availible?

I'm researching diy table saws and discovered a great resource at Wilfs wood blueprint (check it out on google)
a stack those 1.5 meter high, 30 cm wide between 4 holders and cut in one pass. much faster
That's pretty sweet. The people who are whining about having to pick up logs are obviously dullards.

Nice unit, but it sucks when you don't reply to your viewers.
