This switch is a tribute to the greatness of Bang Chan. He selected members who could do or had the potential to do singing, rapping and dancing. It was definitely intentional on his part.
The recording is from the second night of the Fan-meet last year. (It was a paid stream so that might be the reason why the skip is in there😅) So most of the fans did know about the swap at that point I’d say. While those attending the first night were totally caught off guard. it was their second time performing this in front of a large audience. The line distribution is not a strict member swap like the others did, I think. They divided more by who was comfortable with which line I think. mad impressive especially for the members who don’t sing on the regular. I was so proud of Felix especially since he was so shy and unsure about is singing voice for so long.
Changbin's initial intent was to be a singer. They "guided" him into being a rapper. I think one of my favorite things he sings is "Fly High" which is a advertising M/V for Samsung. But it's a real song and video. Add it to your list. And my favorite Hyunjin solo is Little Star.
This was a total surprise. This was the fan-meet Pilot when 5 Star came out. It was webcast for those of us that aren't in Korea. Muddy Water was staged first, and that's why the boys didn't come on stage until after the intro ran and came out on the verse. When I saw them in concert, they came out earlier. The part switch is not 1:1 in this song. It was for Muddy Water, but I think this song's parts just swing too wide for the boys that are up there. Like at the end, Binnie & Hyunjin harmonize the last phrase, but originally it's just I.N solo for that line. They all have range, but they can't all really push and belt in their full range. Han is taking a lot of the belting, especially the high ones. **The skip was only a couple seconds. 😢 What's really impressive is that they did this for 2 days, and on day 2, both switch ups *improved their performances*! ❤
They did so well. I really like it. But I especially want to mention Hyunjin. It's clear that it was too hard for him to sing on such high notes, but he tried, I'm so proud of him❤
I love Stray Kids for doing stuff like this...they just seem to love having fun with their music and their fans. Obviously there's a lot of work behind the scenes but I swear they don’t think of it as work cause they love it. I think this was the fan meet dome tour but I could be wrong

You're totally right, It's one thing to say or read about them all being all-rounders who can do everything, sing, rap, and dance, but It's another thing entirely listening to them actually do it, sing or rap, and do it LIVE. Also, I don't know if you know, I'm not sure if you do, but when Changbin was a trainee at his very beginning, he started as a singer, until his singing teacher suggested him to try rapping cause his tone was very good ( not sure about the exact details on his voice, I'm not a singer ), but because of her, he's now a rapper, and one of the fastest rappers in Korea, and super talented, and a very powerful rapper (his tone, voice control, and rapping style) even without his speed Obviously... LoL + About how they distributed the lines, I think the one thing I can be sure about is Han's lines, cause as you said, he's the only one who sings as much as he raps, almost, in their discography, so he was given the higher notes\lines in the song, cause he most definitely can reach them.
