Amit Trivedi is a magician. He understands the demand of the story and never goes beyond it.
Qala is a Phenomenal album. The songs sound simple but all those songs are difficult to create, especially in this era.
He has given vibes of old songs, yet used a few modern instruments smartly. And lyrics- over the top.
Phero na Najar se Najariya is a thumari.
Exactly and even the singers did a great job. They tried their best to make those songs sound like the old ones.

Sye, a song for Ponniyin Selvan Chapter 1, it's in Kannada, So that song has been sung by Sireesha Ji and she's been a part of the chorus for many songs of Rahman Sir, but I am glad that someone from mainstream Bollywood used her sweet voice!!!

Me being a teenager, I usually or rather mostly listen to old songs, love the magic in those songs, I don't know why I do not like the beats and composition of modern songs, but this ghode pe sawar when I heard it I thought it's some old song but suddenly realized no its not. Just fall in love with the song

Original songs are like breath of fresh air in the world of remakes. Remakes agar banane hi hai toh kuch toh creativity ho.. ye nahi ki sirf beats change ki, female lines daal di aur naya ban gya. Even Sanam makes remakes of old songs but they sound really good.

Qala's movie music and background score is top notch!! It just enhancers each and every scene of the movie!! Lyrics, song writers, music composition and singers..everything is "kamaal" ♥️♥️
Such a brilliant album, never thought i'd see myself listening to a retro classical style of album but the composition and arragngement is brilliant. The might of indian orchesteral instruments are fully on display in Phero Na Najariya, Nirbhau Nirvair and Udd Jaega, the ablum peaks with these 3 songs. Kudos to Amit Trivedi and Sachin Sager.
Happy to see Shirisha Bhagvatula getting a chance...Btw those who don't know about her... she has been carved by the legendary Late Shri . SP Balasubramaniam sir...So Sirisha undoubtedly is a fine artist❤️

I was waiting for this video. I absolutely loved this album... Watched this movie yesterday and i still can't get over it.. It's a treat for the eyes.. A good movie after a long time. Just loved everything about it, cast, music and cinematography just mind blowing.

Your song reviews are really good. One extra ordinary album is there in Marathi for the movie Anandi Gopal. One of the composers is Jasraj Joshi who was winner of SAREGAMAPA when saajit waajit dalehr mehdi were one of the judges. The album is so beautiful that you would make a video on it. Just take the background of the movie for each song.

Qala is a very underrated album. Except Ghode Pe Sawaar, none of the masterpieces is acknowledged by people. Maybe this is a Neha Kakkar's generation, Sirisha ji ko thoda pahle aana tha xD.
